How to Install MIP Rubberized Mat Flooring

The rubberized flooring in my truck needed to be replaced. I tore out the old, original vinyl flooring and installed new piece of Molded Industrial Polyvinyl (MIP) flooring in my 1968 F100. While I was doing this, I wrapped up a few other parts and pieces that need replacing.

Nice work Andy. I did the same exact thing in my 75 F250 a few years ago. Even after using a heat gun I still can’t get the creases to go away…oh well. Looking forward to seeing more done on the truck!

It's not the smell that gets ya, it's the fact that everything sticks to it, especially when you're not prepared. :)

Great job...gotta about the same to do for my 78. I like the idea of the plastic floor instead of going back to carpet just for the fact it wont allow those spills/leaks to soak thru to the pad and eventually the metal floor issues could start again. I guess both have good and bad issues. Where did you get the flooring?

Thanks! Flooring is from LMC Truck, part number 49-5909. So far their products have been decent, but their shipping time sucks. :)
