Just remember, it likes a cool, moist (not wet) root run, so mulch it this spring to help the soil around it remain moist and cool and it should grow out to be even fuller and better.

We've had fairly good results with it when we've tried in a sunny spots. If you decide to try it, it will be important to incorporate plenty of organic matter at planting time and mulch it well too, to help keep the roots cool and moist during any prolonged, dry, summer periods (and having a hose pipe or watering can handy would be good too). Yes, dead heading (removal of old flower heads) will be beneficial, it might help to stimulate later flowering but it will certainly help to keep them bushier and tidier looking and help to encourage stronger clumps. It is a clumping perennial that is not at all aggressive, it is a completely different type of Anemone: www.grownbyoverdevest.com/plants/wild-swan-japanese-anemone/ Flowers much earlier than Honorine Jobert and it only grows about 16-18" and is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and is highly recommended. Mind you, if you want "a beautiful, TALL, white flower", and don't mind it flowering in late summer and into the Autumn then 'Honorine Jobert' is hard to beat. Hopefully you will have room for both!
