Planting Dwarf Japanese Anemone | Here She Grows

Күн бұрынI'm creating a purple color echo with this fabulous little Japanese anemone I recently found at a local garden center. Not sure what a color echo is, let me show you!
Rather than creating a sideyard garden that has something in bloom in every season, I'm leaning into creating a garden for ONE season - Autumn. That's not to say the rest of the seasons will be boring, they just won't be as flashy as I imagine it will be in autumn. So I'm choosing plants accordingly and am absolutely in love with this little Japanese Anemone. It's called Elfin Swan and has the most beautiful color on it's reverse, or the undersides of its petals.

Lovely 💜 Our plants flourish, because of the start they are given! Good luck on your new Anemones. As you know, the Japanese Anemone Spread. I'll be digging some of mine out pretty soon. They take over the other plants! 😄

I’ll be digging up the Honorine Jobert next spring and relocating them. What varieties do you have?

Beautiful flowers! Japanese Anemore spread quickly by the roots and seeds after a few year. I planted 2 in my garden may be 10 years ago, now ,over 100 in my garden! every year ,I have to dig some out. Love your garden and subscribed!

I just planted the Honore Jobert anemone last year! So so beautiful! I’m definitely going to add the smaller ones next year!

I think I need to add more of the little ones next year. And I have plenty of Honorine Jobert to divide and spread around the garden.
