I remember looking up asking a question when my surgeon had put the mask on me. that she says "see you soon bud" i only made it only made 30 seconds i wake up 4 hours later in pain this is so damn true.

I felt so cozy and taken care of afterwards. Not a worry in the world😊

I have tons of surgeries done in the last 6 months. And it is shocking every time how fast the reaction is.

Hour procedures go by in an eyeblink, maybe as long as 3 seconds. 4 hour surgery goes by in 5-8 seconds

What's funny is the doctor said it took me a while to fall asleep and I kept responding but I dont even remember responding I just woke up😂

My experience was, they put me in the room with 4 other doctor and one of them came to me and said i am going to count to 7 and we are gonna play some music so you can relax..... i never heard the music *thats it

That was me with my hysterectomy. I went night night and then woke up asking when we were gonna start. Tech said you're all done. No way!!!

I remember waking up from my tonsillectomy and adenoid removal surgery and the nurse asked me if I wanted water. I said yes. She then said when she asked before that I said no, I had no recollection of that and it freaked me out. I was so worried about what else I could have said that I wouldn't remember.

I was put under when I had my wisdom teeth removed and after I came to, I took a nap and had the most lucid of dreams I ever experienced. I knew I was dreaming, but I had complete presence of mind and could literally engage with everything around me. I was in a garage and there was an arcade standup Street Fighter 2 machine that I played for a while. It was awesome. I could feel the sunlight. My parents were there and I sat and talked to them for a while. I've never had a dream that I was in control of before then, or afterwards. That was 25 years ago.

They put the oxygen mask on my face and I closed my eyes. Then a nurse called on me and I was like: “But you can’t be done already?” And the nurse replied: “Yup, you’ve been out for 40 minutes” 😂😂

I remember after knee surgery I was too tired to comprehend life and when I got home I fell right on my knee I just had surgery on so that was a wild 2 weeks of bleeding out of my knee

I remember they struggled to find my vein but man when they did, they asked me to start counting and I don’t even remember saying two before suddenly being told to wake up and get into a wheel chair 😂

They were wheeling me in to the surgery suite and I was talking with them and lights out, while I was talking. No mask, no count down. Woke up in terrible pain. Gallbladder surgery🎉

I had my tonsils out and remember the nurse telling another patient that she didn't want to have my surgery. I was high as a kite and enjoying the ride.

its too fast to realise that you are gone temporarily.... but the waking up scene is different...in my case it's annoying.... I felt like I'm in liquid stage... and the noise out side was echoing continuously 🥴🥴🥴

It took awhile for the anesthisia to work on me and jt made my hody shake. I woke up after in the recovery room someone told me to not move so i just slept for like 12 more hours lol

That was almost exactly what happened to me. They said I was about to be put under - so I waited for it to kick in. Felt like it was taking a bit too long, so I said, "I don't think it's working." And literally the very next thing i knew, i was dreaming that someone was talking to me. They kept saying my name. After hearing it about 4 times i realized it was someone in the OR talking to me. So i groggily got my eyes to open halfway, and someone said, "You did great. We're all done." I managed to mumble something like, "Done with what? What did I do?" I didn't hear the answer because i passed out again - and the very next thing i knew i was waking up in recovery! The entire surgical process had taken close to 90 minutes - but to me it was more like a few seconds 😆

Getting general anaesthesia done next month! It's the night before and I'm sooo scared😅. Will update how it went
