I was at Anfield last week on 3rd July it doesn’t look good on the eye and they still need to jet wash the brickwork? The scaffolding was showing better in the first place you were. It’s right in the corner by the black seat covering. That part of the Carpark I think a bike/scooter shelter maybe going there. Or a security hut.

FSG have stated they have no further plans to expand the Kop or the Sir Kenny.They only have plans to enlarge and modernise the concourse areas and adapt/enlarge the knee room in the lower kenny stand which will reduce the number of seats in the stand by about 1,000seats. The ground does now look very lopsided which is something i guess we are now going to have to live with for the foreseeable future. One of the big issuses for Anfield is that it needs the council permission if it wants to expand beyond 67,000 dye to residental concerns as that would require greater transport links, a better road network , parking facilities , a local rail link etc, so its not just the physical restrictions of the Kop extension and Sir Kenny Stand extension that are a factor to be thought about. It would take the demolition of the houses in Skerries Road and the relocation of the household , again this is is a long term project and is the only option if the club wants to expand and heighten the Sir Kenny stand due to right of sunlight laws that impact the residents living behind a new heightened Stand. If Liverpool have ambitions to have a 80,000 seater stadium which we can easily fill then there is probably only one option and that is to build a new stadium in Stanley Park and return Anfield into a green space area , but this is something that FSG would not undertake and it would need the transfer of the clubs ownership. Personally i love Anfield, its traditional 4 stand look , its history, its atmosphere etc and yes id love it to be able to expand its size further but we may have to be satisfied with its 60,000 capacity and lopsided look if we want to stay at our home

Hello GB and well done for all your videos, helpful and informative. A simple question regarding the 'Fan Zone' area. Is it only going to be open on match days or will it open as if it were normal pub-type opening times?

Evertons stadium will be finished before this stand is completed . Half job builders - who do half a job then leave it for weeks . Just get it finished ffs Stadium looks awful.

I wish they would have gone for new stadium build, penny pinching as normal, looking at Everton’s arsenal spurs Man City and soon to be Man U ☹️if they do kenny d stand and something special to the kop then all good but can’t see these owners doing anything else, only + it looks better than it was but still lagging behind all the other stadiums

Starting to think we would of been better with a brand new build on Stanley park. The stadium looks so disjointed and proportionally looks horrible. Add to the fact our club could easily fill a 70k-80k stadium each game but looking more likely anfield as it is will never go over 61k-62k now and looks crap with two massive new stands and two old smaller ones.

We are the laughing stock of the league. The build quality is crap and the main roof still has holes which will not be repaired or replaced. These builders should be booted off site .
