They had to remove a row of bricks for the cill job. That cill has given me anxiety for months. I can sleep easy now

Wayne Translink are the bus and rail providers for Northern Ireland. The bus you featured is a glider these operate in Belfast on existing roads which have been marked with bus lanes. So I don’t see why it can’t be up and running in a short time frame. All the council needs to do is sort the routes and buy the gliders

We had those “bendy buses” in Wembley about 15 years ago and were swiftly removed due to multiple accidents, fair evasion and horrendous manoeuvrability. Hopefully they are brought in with new roads and loads of planning unlike the ones dropped into London traffic

Google Belfast Glider and you'll see the elevated halts that were built for it. Very quick to board and exit with consistent journey times provided there are bus lanes

The driver doesn't interact with passengers and you have to prepay at the glider stops or on the app.

Hi Wayne, this is on loan from Translink in Belfast where the Glider provides the rapid transit across the city. It has been very successful and due to have its network expanded.

Do they know the route that the rapid transit system will serve?

Between the extra 3 rows of 4 sections that's around 480 extra seats, add that bit that wasn't in use last season in the corner it's around another 800 maybe more than last seasons capacity. I think the other half at the back is for disabled fans in wheelchairs plus seats for the people accompanying them, sure I remember seeing it on earlier drawings of the stand. I think they should do 3 tier 2nd tier cooperate and then look more even with main stand don't know why people behind finals drawing can't see what people see

The 'tram' is ages off yet. The one you see is on loan from Belfast, it was also down at the airport, as the airport and 2 stadiums are the priority. Key routes will require adaptation before anything goes live but still be a quicker solution than trains

The red boards I beleive are actually cladding panels similar to that around the turnstiles. They're probably permanent. You can see them laying around and being installed on videos from the past few weeks

I've said it before.. if Liverpool want to compete with Europe's elite, then they'll need to expand eventually. I believe they are working behind the scenes on future development of the club. I think they'll wait until the Annie rd end pays for itself before any further news. A lot has to be considered, mainly the local residents, rightly so. But to compete, how much would a new stadium cost? Should they move .. £1billion, £2billion maybe? Compared to how much extending Anfield further. Again there are hurdles and of course all depending on the local community

Good video, including the "trackless tram" announcement. Though the new tram/bus looks good, I don't see it improving transport links if it continues to use the same roads as the current 917 and Soccerbuses. I think the reason they moved the 917 from Walton Breck Road to Walton Lane was to help them get away quicker, but it's a bit further to walk now. The new buses would need their own lane to make a difference, but there's no room to do that without it impacting on other traffic. As mentioned by others, 2028 seems way too long to introduce the new buses, unless that includes plans to create a special lane for it. The buses will be good for the airport link, presumably from the City centre and South Parkway.
