I remember hearing Angela Bofill singing this as a tribute to Phyllis Hyman when she came to the Keswick Theater in Glenside, PA near Philly. This was back in the Summer of 2000. That was a very beautiful concert Ms Bofill had put on.

Angela Bofill to this day is my favorite. I had the pleasure of seeing her in concert many, many years ago and her voice is beautiful. She is one of a kind and she is even better in person and she's gorgeous.

I like her voice, too bad she had a stroke, well two strokes. I hope one day she'll get to sing again.

This is just a beautiful song. I've never heard anyone not do it justice. I remember being a kid and reading this title on the back of an album and thinking "What the heck does Betcha By Golla Wow mean? And then The Stylistics explained it to me. As well as Phyllis Hyman and Angela Bofill. I understand it now. It means beauty. Wow, I betcha.

Today, all the new artist, male and female sound alike...pretty boring actually...this is real music. So glad were able to {still} hear this fabulous music whenever.
