I am so happy to have found this video. I lived in Conyngham 83/84 and have very fond memories of this park when I was a kid.

It brought tears to my eyes why do things have to change lived close by and will never forget

Just drove past the old place last week and told my son there used to be an amusement park there. He didn't believe me, lol.

It's a shame, by 87 the park was already starting to show signs of disrepair and demise. I do remember going there at that point and knowing the end was near.

God I loved this park when I was a little girl my Dad used to take me & my name is Angela too.

this video is fascinating; the fact that you have a video of a roller coaster ride is amazing by itself.

You can still see the foundations from many rides on Google satellite as well as make out the turnpike car course. Sad to have lost a lot of small parks like this. There is an identical clone of the wood coaster in Columbus Ohio at the zoo (formerly Wyandot Lake park). Same design and opened the same year (1956). Both coasters can be found on rcdb.com

What was the name of the ride with the "cars" that were way up high,and went around the park. I remember riding them. It would go all around the park way up high. It was wonderful. All the cars were different colors.

Angela should have survived but due to a “shady” local bank, the New Owners never stood a chance. It was a great little park that deserved a better fate!

This video is awesome! I grew up in mountain top in the '80s and spent many days at Angela park with my dad. Brings back a lot of good childhood memories ☺️
