Besidrs the fact that Angelina is an incredible talent, what I love the most about her is her humbleness, how much she really cares about others, her debestating cuteness when she smiles and waves after she belts out a tune, the maturity she displays when it comes to the importance of her fans in her career, and so many other things. The world is a far better place with Angelina in it.

Five octave range, pitch perfect, and able to capture the essence of this special song, this is what Angelina always accomplishes. I mean, come on, we're talking Whitney Houston and Angelina knocks it out of the park with relative ease.

Dear Schnell, PLEASE PLEASE react to the first song she sang in a recording studio at age 6 which is I Who Have Nothing. If you do I want to tell you that the start of the conversation after she finishes is her asking Was it good & the studio tech says it was real good for your first time. There are these singers that are very good but then there is Angelina Jordan. there is not another singer on this planet that can convey the emotional spirit of a song with the power and intensity the way she can...Period. And that includes many great singers of the past such as Karen Carpenter, Aretha, Tina Turner or even Janis Joplin who's always been my favorite. The way Angelina carries a run on a lyric or the discipline to not rush to the next is uncanny. Angelina has the ability to draw the listener into her world and feel the song,

Hi Schnell! You're just right when you say Angelina is willing to go out of her comfort zone and try new things. With Whitney in particular, she has been wanting to sing her songs since she was a year and half. Yes, believe it. The first songs she sang as soon as she learnt to speak were Whitney's! There is a video of it within a larger interview in TV2 Norway channel. This is one of the rare examples where you can actually detect a little bit of effort from Angelina. Here you can sense that she is testing (and expanding) her boundaries. It seems that Angelina really likes to challenge herself and explore all her options when it comes to vocal styles. You are only 4 songs in now, so you have only scratched the surface, but the more Angelina you see, the more you will see her incredible versatility. I highly recommend checking out some of her covers from Adele (Million Years Ago), Lana Del Rey (Born to die or Young and Beautiful), and Amy Winehouse (Valerie). All three can be found on her cover channel. and after that, we have about 100 others to request :)

I love to watch your face catching each choice she makes that is different from Whitney's. Your expressions of awe and respect are priceless! You might be the only reactor I follow that can catch those. One thing you have in common with her is you both breathe audibly when it enhances the lyrics! Brilliant!

The thing I find amazing about these home studio performances is that they are, essentially, live performances. One take, no edits, no auto-tune. Just an extraordinary young woman singing her heart out, with all those perfect imperfections.

I agree, She could have made a video using multiple takes and edited the shots together to get a 'perfect' version. But she would rather just show us a real performance of the song.

I totally agree with you, Derek, but the fact is that this particular performance is not done in one take. There are so many others that are, but not this one. The sound may be in one take, but if so, it is not the one we see here. You can see it a few places, closer to the end, where her mouth is not fitting the vocals. But that does not take anything away from this spectacular performance, knowing this song is not in her comfort zone. Her pitch is very on point throughout the song. She might be a little tight at her higher notes, but all in all an amazing job for a 13 years old.

Angelina has crossed paths with David Foster at least twice on Angelina's FB posts. First in December 2015 (she was 9) and agsin when she performed I Have Nothing with him at a Beverly Hills benefit in May 2019. She released this video in March 2019. Angelina has been blessed to work with many music greats who seem to have influenced her development. Besides Foster, the list inckudes Quincy Jones, Mark Ronson, John Legend, Acicii, Alan Walker, and Norah Jones. Probably more. Love your reactions.

Just like you my friend I am a dog person, I have a half german shepherd half rottweiler boy who is an absolute shithead but he's the most gentle soul and he knows no stranger, every person is a best friend in his eyes lol I love that boy dearly. And I absolutely agree with you, miss Angelina stepped out of her comfort zone and she did her thing. It's difficult for adults to sing that song let alone a 13 year old or however old she was when she recorded this and sound incredible. As for another Angelina performance to react to I highly recommend her singing elton John's goodbye yellow brick road. Awesome video again Schnell!😊

Angelina. Jordan and poet Mery Zamani and a Japanese father. Jordan attended the Oslo Waldorf School and participated in the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program, where she received vocal training. First time I leave you a comment, watch ALL your reactions. I very much appreciate that you formulated your thoughts before speaking them...I love Angelina, too. I admire her willingness to venture outwards and "test the waters" (if you will). I must give her high marks for her efforts.. It was a way of raising the bar outside what she usually ventures...while it is a lovely rendition, I too, could hear it required a tad bit more stretch than she can produce at this point...she got very close, and her Smile at the end, to me, showed she was pleased with this effort, but because of who she is, she'll still be searching for that "Drop the mike" moment for this particular song... She'll always strive for more. This was a wonderful peek and what we probably already know, she's ALWAYS going to strive for more, for excellence, to grow, to reach her goals...and she knows, even from an earlier age, she has the pipes, they just have to catch up to what she wants to present. You were very articulate, and took all things into consideration for your comments... That you love her as an artist and human being is obvious, and for what you are, I appreciated your perspective. Stunning vocal ability in belting. Can't say it is my favourite Angelina song, I prefer her lower register, but she's clearly simply demonstrating that she can do it if she wants. And she still adds the beauty of her signature breathy control in the few places where it fits.

Thank you for another grand reaction to Angelina. As usual, she put her own special interpretation on this song, while still paying respect to the original. There is no other singer for whom I have greater respect than this incredibly talented and versatile young lady. I have owned dogs most of my life - Mixed breeds, Dachshunds, Border Collies and currently own my second Italian Spinone. Jordan is now just over 13 years of age, which is above the average for the breed. She is slowing down but, as always, becomes very animated at food time :-) She will probably be my last dog as, at the age of 89, it would be unfair of me to take on another. My KZfaq profile is of Albert, my first Italian Spinone, who died just six weeks short of his 13th birthday.

Angel is comfortable across many zones. There are so many different sides to her approach. This performance has much in common with ITS A MAN's WORLD, and she acts IWHN in a similar way she did with I PUT A SPELL ON YOU. Her own compositions reveal her character, and preferred musical direction, and - apart from several collaborations, we have only heard three SHIELD, WHAT IS LIFE, and OSLO (though more are said to be ready) and these are completely different zones again.

Schnell thank you so much for your reaction and analysis for this amazing performance. Was there any doubt that our Angel could reach those beautiful high notes? Angelina must be such a joy for her vocal coaches in LA (she outgrew her coaches in Norway) to work with. I came up with a new suggestion for your next reaction to Angelina. I am surprised no reactor so far has not put her two versions of "I'm a Fool to Want You" in one reaction video. I'm definitely a dog person. I've has five Dobermans since the early 80's. Sadly in a breakup last April I lost the custody battle for Duque, my best buddy, a 110lb Dobie. I'm currently seeking a rescue in a more mid-size. Pure or mixed breed doesn't matter to me, but I need a dog who will adapt well to travelling in a van. But in these Covid-19 days it's actually pretty hard to make that connection.

Angelina is the only singer alive who could bring back Jazz and oldies. She is the only young singer age 10/14 that has established a amazing diverse fan base of people ages 30 thru late 80's when other teen singers are only getting the young crowd. Hopefully Angelina will pick some of that age group too when her new Republic Records debus album comes out, because it is mostly the 12//20 something crowd that spends the most on CD's.

It's impossible for me to give a ranking of the interpretations of this little girl, considering her young age and the fact that despite this she is always, in each of his interpretations at the height if not better than the original singer. First of all I like your reaction. Like all of us AJ fans you start right off with admiration for this young girl. I'm certainly hooked since I discovered her Bohemian Rhapsody on AGT. She's the only female singer I've been watching hundreds of times over! As for pets, I have a white Umbrella Cockatoo named Charlie and when I got my English creme Golden Retriever which is white also I named her Angel so that Charlie would have an Angel to play with.LOL Keep up the good job and I'll be watching and following. My black lab (Scout-12-1/2yrs) passed on Jan 30, 2018. He was just laying on the floor and didn't respond when I called him. That was a very, very sad time. I am not over that but Angelina has helped me everyday.

I'm not for sure if there is another singer that has a range like Whittney Houston had. But if there are I truly believe that Anglina would hit that range also. But what I love about her is she didn't come out and do this cover just to show she could do it. But I out of respect to one of the all time greats Whittney Houston. Love your analysis and reacation. I do feed and sit outside petting a stray cat that comes by for a free meal almost daily. I think that's enough for me for now. I do like dogs better than cats though, no question about that. Regarding the song, I think it was great! I could see Angelina working, but she nailed it. I hope she has a fulfilling future ahead of her.

Great reaction and on-point comments! There are more powerful belters than Angelina Jordan at 12, but her versatility is amazing. People often compare her to Amy Winehouse, Norah Jones and jazz greats such as Billie Holiday. That is understandable because of her rich tone and beautiful lower register. But it is very difficult to imagine any of those great singers belting out high notes like Angelina does here. Also, she could easily have transposed the song down a half or even a whole step, like Whitney often did on tour. But true to form, Angelina sings in the key of the original recording - whether the original is sung by a male or female!

Thanks for another great reaction :) I agree with Rusty, Angelina is really challenging herself with it this rendition and does a commendable effort :) If you want to hear Angelina really do higher notes with amazing results then I suggest you do a reaction to her cover of Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers. When I first heard this I thought that whatever flaws Angelina's voice has, when singing it as a 13 year old, they will certainly be gone well before she reaches 29, which was Whitney's age when she sang it. Now, I've heard 15 year old Angelina sing Adele's "Easy On Me" and wonder if they might not already be gone.

Thanks for your emotionel and professional reaction. You notice her working on her voice development much more than other reactors at the beginning of your Angelina Journey. But she is also a wonderful creative Artist to her Songs. Like Simon on AGT said, you take the risk to choose a well known song like bohemian rhapsody. He never heard it in this Version. But before you choose this, try - i put a spell on you, in bw Version. This is her masterpiece of a 9y old girl 💖😍🤗

Your inciteful comments and reaction to Angelina trying such a BIG song as this at age 13 won me over as a new Sub Schnell....as one of the many Angelina fans out here, would love to see you do many more on the Angel. You have not yet experienced the full effect of what this young prodigy singer can do, so please keep going, it will not hurt your fan base, trust me. BTW you have a beautiful voice.

It's simple folks...Angelina can sing anything by anybody...doesn't matter..male or female and usually do it equal of better than the original.....you will find that out once you go through all 130 KZfaq videos she has out there!
