I'm trying not to, but I cry each time I listen to this song. The powerfull way she says "la terra e terra", sounds to me she refers to the fact that her father was put in the ground after he died, and it's so strong and emotional, how she cuts to the chase, without hasitation, with all the brutality of that situation. Angelina's father, Pino Mango, was a very famous singer in Italy who suddenly passed away 10 years ago, when she was only 13. Fila Indiana is a ballad which describes her mourning in the days following the tragedy. Through metaphors of the Catholic Eucharist, she tells about all the people standing in line to visit her house and pay homage to the family, which didn't quite leave her the right personal space to process the pain.

Another side, completely different from La Noia...what is it? electro-psychedelic-rap-pop-ballad? Difficult to pigeonhole but her vocal skills here are fantastic coupled with the minimalistic music in the background si giving me serious goosebumps. The vocal "melodic" line is very percussive and restrained in the verse - like a drum track has been swapped with some vocals...but then she lift the brakes and turn on the dynamics and let go with a near scream which is very emotional. Angelina isn't just an Italian version of Rosalia - this is something else.

She is really innovating music! I love her so much ❣️

Among the various singers that Angelina can be, there's a rock singer too. It doesn't come explicitly forward yet (for obvious reasons) but you can feel it can be there, under the layers of other styles. She has the intensity and emotional stance when she wants, she knows how to translate it to voice techniques.
