At 6:45 I wondered if he meant Jump King instead of Shovel Knight, as they are both little blue guys. Maybe he meant what he said, it's hard to know what goes inside the mind of a Tom.

Having never played Shovel Knight, Jump King makes way more sense, because it's the same concept of missing a jump/shot and being sent all the way back

I think this game is meant to be a commentary on modern life, themes of the environment, religion, politics, the internet, animal cruelty, fame, nuclear weapons and so on
