Its wild how The Nerd has been online for so long you can actually see him grow up. So many hours of entertainment. From game reviews to movie reviews to just commentary about all things. through the ups and downs this guy has been there and still working his craft. make a dedicated "AVGN bedtime" collection. 8 hours long of selected episodes throughout the years, with nes game music interludes. Most of us fall asleep to these, I definitely do, they're the ultimate comfort food. I know the action 52 episode by heart lol

Started watching AVGN last year around when The Last Ninja episode was released (which is a part of Season 16) and I was kind of watching episodes in random order. Just last week, I decided to marathon all seasons in order. Just finished this season and the credits at 4:34:05 already felt nostalgic. It must've been a fun adventure to have been a fan from day 1.

I really love that the hitchhiker is wearing a Spider-Man costume because the original role is played by Tobey Maguire. The episode referring to Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is pure gold. All the references and changed quotes really amaze me.

I surprisingly bought the Shrek Fairytale Freakdown game in 2002 when I was 5. It wasnt until I was 8 that I could beat it though lol. It holds a silly little soft spot in my heart though and I still own it. I remembber feeling so accomplished that I could finally get past Pinocchio.

The refresh rate of the 3DO is so horrible. Also, Road Rash has always been a great game. Especially Road Rash 64!

Even the new road rash game wasnt bad! Same oldschool feel just with a nice coat of paint. It wasnt received well because its the same formula as before but for people like you and me its exactly what Road rash is all about.

We miss you, Nerd! Yet another round of finishing every season of AVGN and I still get sad at the end. Lol Thank you for everything, James. Your stuff has helped me through A LOT of hard times, struggles and loss. I always had your work to still help my mouth remember how to curl upwards at each end again. I wish that you would come back (like every other IP is doing these days) and do one last season on newer games and platforms, but I'm sure there's other things you'd like to pursue.
