I forgot how much dialogue the snooty villagers used to have about their boyfriends! Sometimes I'd think it were someone who lived in our town (usually a grumpy villager) but she was trying to play it off like I didn't know him to keep their relationship a secret. Other times I thought she was really single but made up a boyfriend to seem popular.

@@GloomyFish This comment is old, but I definitely think Broffina and Avery were an item in my NL town. I gathered so many screenshots of them going to visit each other, complimenting each other's houses, having me deliver gifts to each other, attending their birthday parties, admitting that they are close friends, etc. Strangely though, Broffina and other snooty villagers never mention boyfriends in NL. Tiffany and Queenie did mention them in WW, but didn't have that much chemistry with my cranky villagers, Rocco or Gaston. I think Gaston and Tiffany were a little friendly if they lived there at the same time but nothing like Broffina and Avery.

Oh my God. I haven't played this in years, and I forgot how much more I loved the dialogue in this game compared to the newer ones! Some of the things the animals say is pure gold!

@@futuresmiles It's a glitch that only works when they're on stone bridges. Hit them with a net to stun them, and then quickly push them off the edge.

I hope in the new Animal Crossing has more festivals almost like Harvest Moon. A festival every season/or in Animal Crossing's case months. I also want the villagers to be sassy like in the original but toned down a tiny bit, so every little things doesn't make them mad. I'll also like more games with your villagers like tag, leap frog, rock, paper, scissors and so on.

So interesting story, one of my villagers, (Bubbles to be specific,) asked for a ball. There was a ball in the very next acre, so I kicked it over to her, but it got stuck in her doorway, and she couldn't kick it, I couldn't remove it, and she remained "locked out" foreved... (welp at least Octavian was next door she got some tentacle action)
