Don't forget the lucrative river fish though. Dorado, Arowana and Arapaima fetch a decent price too.

I time-travel and I'm a few days behind (still in late May), but I visited my wife's island last night and absolutely lost my mind when I saw a finned shadow! It was a great white shark, and now I'm beyond hyped for shark season.

i never really cared for fishing, i just did it o open up my musuem when i needed it, but for some reason recently ive been fishing and diving, i got the coelacanth fish and the gigas giant clam and like 17 sea pineaples lol, i will definitely be fishing.. no fin? no fishh

Yes! Never knew of this island before as I play seldomly. I stumbled upon it today and I got rid of everything except 1 fishing pole to make room for sharks as they are worth more than any of my tools. Over 500,000 when sold! Nice!

I watched your video last night and right after, I started playing my Animal Crossing game. I caught 5 out of 6 sharks you mentioned and tonight I caught a Mahi Mahi. “Ocean”. 🤙🏻🌺🦈

i was playing early today and i ended up getting the island first try on book mile tickets. I’m new to animal crossing some sort and i had no idea that sharks were even in the game... man i tell you was i surprised when i came back home to my pockets full of whale sharks and great whites

I got all mine (except the sun fish, obviously) yesterday. All on my own island without any bait (& I didn’t try catching that many fish, I just got the rod out whenever I passed a fin). I was expecting them all to be the suckerfish because I’d already caught three of those, so I was over the moon!

On my first ACNH island I had sharks all the time, even more when it rained. Then after swimming and sea creatures, the number was reduced. Then on each subsequent island, I've had a really low shark and exotic fish count. I wondered if it had to do with how you get different furniture and clothing drops-not always the stuff you are hoping for. I had great stuff on my first island but ever since the items have been of little use or interest to me. Like I get a lot of male clothing and no female tops. I like my current island the best but the stuff is the worst. Do you think Nintendo has been playing with the random drop rate since the beginning? Thanks for keeping us updated on all things ACNH.

Ocean - I got fin island while villager hunting the other day. Tossed back every sucker fish I caught to make room for the more expensive ones. Then I sold them all to CJ for over 600k bells. Definitely worth it! For me it only took 20 nmts

I started playing animal crossing about a month ago (because I finally purchased a switch) and I just got this island today. I basically filled my entire inventory (40 items) with Great Whites and Whale Sharks. CJ is probably visiting my island tomorrow or the upcoming days. I’m so excited to make BANK :)

I’ve caught all the sharks, but never found Dorsal Fin Island. I caught 2 hammerheads and a great white on the first day of summer! I only have one fish model - the bitterling.

There are several mystery islands that require ladders and poles. If you ever land on money island and you don't have a pole, your hooped!
