Powerlifting and Strongman have the best camaraderie. All the athletes cheer for each other even though they are super competitive. All the athletes want the others to succeed. Bodybuilding used to be like that in the 60’s and 70’s but now it’s just more jealousy.

Larry wheels and Big Boy needs to be in there. That would be epic

Fuck all the other lifting montages with music and inspirational speeches; Nothing is more motivating than The Cage.

I think I would have more anxiety than energy inside that cage.

What type of barbells are being used in the cage? Rogue, Texas, American Barbell?

Has anyone mentioned the idea of having the Cage event, on it's own accord, at some point this year? Seeing the new events has been a big part of motivation for me over the past five years and it would be cool to see the Cage overcome the Covid lockdowns, to bring up my own spirit.

If you have big legs then its actually easier to be able to squat or deadlift heavy especially when it comes to summo deadlifting because summos deadlifts are 80% leg work and only 20% back so its a leg dominant lift which is why 95% of women do summo. The summo deadlift also helps make your legs a lot stronger so naturally you will be able to squat more weight the more you develop your legs. There's still no substitute for a conventional deadlift for the true test of strength because there's no cheating it and no leverage like summo period which is why a lot of federations still dont allow summo deadlift !!!
