I had a best friend who died last week ago because of heart attack she was my best since i was 4 yrs old and we both like each other and we promise that we'll wait for our time... But now she's dead she broke her promise!! That we're both going to fulfill our dreams but now all i have are the memories i spend with her! Still i love her and i hope it can reach her! 😥

I feel like the reason the series was as impactful as it was is because of kaori's death.. The series would have been completely different otherwise, and i totally love how it played out, however the worst part of the entire ending was that kaori did not get to fulfill get last wish properly. She wanted just a little more time to perform with kousei one last time, but she couldn't which was heartbreaking and frustrating. Maybe if she could have had a chance to do so before she left...

Here I am, 2024. It's April again. I'll always come back here again in the next spring, and the spring after that.

You know,when Arima played his last song,and Kaori disappeared,I thought she was still alive,(because earlier she was spasaming in the hospital bed and then turned out fine),but when It cut to the cemetery,that's when I realized that she died.That was absolutely soul crusing

Suzu Hirose is very talented and the most popular young actress in Japan, they made the right choice to cast her as Kaori

We need an alternate ending where kaori doesn’t die and she survives the surgery

The most frustrating thing about this anime is that kaori will never know how much kousi love her

The “I love you!” Hits me like a truck, then the “I’m sorry I didn’t finish the caneles. I’m sorry I hit you so much!” Makes me feel like a drizzle. Than the “I..should be the one thanking you” makes me even sadder…then the “Another spring..without you..” makes me tear up.. then the photo at the end makes it all come out and now I’m a baby again.

When arima turn 64,he come to the park where he find miyazono kaori and 3 child playing music.when arima want to go back home,he find a black stray cat sitting on the middle of the road and a truck cant see the cat.that truck move fast.....Arima jumping to the middle of the road to save the cat.The cat alive but Arima.....Death.when arima open her eyes,he see that he was death and he going to go to the other world.And he find that miyazono kaori and arima mom waiting for arima.they lived happily on the other world. Sorry for my bad grammar,but please accept this ending.it will cure your depression.

The first time I ever saw you perform, I was 5 years old. It was at a recital for the piano school I was going to. Twit. When I found out we were in the same middle school, I was ecstatic. But how would I ever come to talk to you? Maybe I’d hang out at the lunch concession. Instead, I just watched you from afar. I mean. After all. You all seemed to get along so well. There wasn’t really any space in there for someone like me. When I was a kid, I had to have an operation and I started having to be at the hospital for regular check-ups. In the first year of middle school, I collapsed and I was admitted over and over. With every visit, I was there for longer and longer. Really, I didn’t get to class much in middle school, I spent more time at the hospital. And I knew something was wrong with my body. One night, I saw my parents crying in the waiting room and I knew that my time was running out. That’s when I ran away. I binge watch this back in 2018... I was heartbroken at that time due to a break up with my ex-gf... I was so damn bitter and lifeless in that year until a friend of mine recommended me to watch some anime to help cheer up even just a bit.. I borrowed his USB containing his anime collections with full episodes and I saw this one called "Your Lie in April." After finishing this, I somehow got better for almost 3 months and it made me an anime enjoyer forever...

The only foolish thing that I kept telling myself is that I've moved on from this. But alas, years have passed and I'm still weeping as if it's the first time I've seen this. Such beauty and sorrow.

I remember watching this show and feeling really sad for kousei. Knowing that he was basically on an artist block for playing the piano again. Which was basically how I was feeling at the time too. All that kousei needed was someone who he could hold onto to know that with however he played the piano, it was okay and to keep going, even if it wasn’t perfect. He needed someone who could relate to him as a musician instead of friends who couldn’t understand outside looking in. Kaori was basically his saving grace. Even if she died, the impact she made on him would be forever and never forgotten. She gave him the push he needed.
