We weren’t given a fair hand in our situations because the people who were suppose to be our care takers didn’t know how to take care of us… or they did what they felt was the best they could. However, becoming the adult your inner child wanted allows for you to be there for that version of yourself. Give them uppies, let them lay their head on your should and let them cry. Whisper “I’m here for you now, and I won’t go anywhere. I’m always with you and we will work through how you feel together” . I’ve been doing this for almost a year and there has been so much more discovery, awareness, healing, and love that I can’t even begin to describe. Love yourself ❤

This video was a part of my childhood and had partly carved me as a person. I will never forget the first time I've watched this, it was when I was 10, browsing random amvs on youtube. My 10 year old me was crying an awful lot after she realized what was happening, and till this day, I haven't moved on.

After years of this video getting recommended, I finally clicked this. What a gift. Gin ;__; 💕 This AMV still manages to remind me of how I felt watching this short film many summers ago and also during one of my favorite college classes when discussing literary analysis and poetry; perfect song choice and selection of shots highlighting this story. My heart still twists when I remember the way this ends (that animation where the protagonist embraces Gin's kimono as he fades and she collapses to the ground still gets me). This aged like a fine wine, thank you for this work of art!
