Cannot believe My Girl film is nearly 30 years old already. Blimey where does time go. Anna is one of those people with natural born talent and she was brilliant in My Girl and My Girl 2. I really think they should now do a My Girl 3 with Vada as a grown up woman, maybe as a mother in the film. Also Mac and Anna could have a reunion. Maybe an interview together, that would be a great idea.

I think it's such a shame that she never become a huge star as an actress, because she had the talent and the looks. I'm a year younger than she is and I remember thinking as a 13 year old that she was pretty hot in My Girl 2 back in '94. Maybe she got out before Hollywood destroyed her, in which case, good for her. My Girl and the Sandlot are the 2 movies that stand out the most for me as a kid. You could even see in an inferior film like My Girl 2 that she was growing into a fantastic young adult actress who could have a believable performance. I'd pay to see My Girl 3 with Macauley Culkin making a cameo as an adult in a dream sequence or something. Let's see what Vada's up to in the 80s as a young adult. I'd write the script myself. My Girl missed out on a proper ending. Or it should have just been 1 movie. The second film left the story feeling a bit incomplete. But Ms. Chlumsky's performance was consistently good throughout. She never seemed like she was playing a role. It always seemed genuine, like Stanley Ipkiss (before he put on the mask) felt like a genuine depiction of who Jim Carrey is, or was in 1994.
