This is actually a really good interview. It's not superficial, the Google peeps have some really interesting and varied questions, and at the same time it (or mostly, Anna) manages to always come back to being funny. I normally think 45min-interviews are too long and not worth it; but I really enjoyed this one. (Also I might be biased because I think that Anna Kendrick is fucking dope, but still.)

I don't mean to sound unkind, but if you don't know how to pronounce the name of the person you're interviewing, you probably shouldn't be doing it. Or at least you should have prepared better. Being corrected twice in the interview was cringy to witness.

A Sunday afternoon. Interesting perspective and insight into the evolution of a young girl who becomes a Celebrity in her own right. When one considers the Celebrities’ who became so, for doing nothing other then explicit pictures and decadent behavior, it is refreshing to read of someone who achieved what Ms. Kendrick has through tenacity and hard work. The resume that Ms. Kendrick achieved before she was 17 is in itself very impressive. I shall admit that I became aware of Ms. Kendrick by way of interviews on the Graham Norton show and an in depth You Tube interview regarding her book and not the movies she has appeared in. I simple do not watch movies made after 1950. Well done you, Ms. Kendrick.

Just now finding out about her. Whew! What a powerhouse. She's quick and I bet her IQ is UP there. Charming, beautiful. She is very giving to interviewers - to me a sign of a very good person.

New rule: Find interviewers who don't fangirl so much that they can't conduct an interview. If you aren't comfortable with fame you could sit in on the photoshoot or something... but interviewing somebody who does this CONSTANTLY because it's part of their job, but usually the part they hate... don't make it HARDER on them by giving them somebody either too inexperienced or who has no personality or who is just not up to it for whatever reason... and for the love of all things holy, give them good questions that they haven't been asked before!

Can someone give a timestamp when this interview gets interesting? Anna Kendrick is as perfectly lovely and down to earth as always, but the interviewer is a bit too "fan awestruck in love" with her to form a cohesive line of questioning and follow up on questions asked, overlooked, or forgotten. It's like eavesdropping on a lesbian first date. Anna is so appealing that just listening to her perfection is enough to ignore everything else. But even her this time around couldn't keep my distraction at bay for long, so we checked out after a few minutes. The interviewer is a seemingly nice and intelligent young woman, but deceptively breezy interviews require someone who can immediately form a natural rapport with someone with even the most innocuous of questions. Anna, who's a pro at doing interviews, seems to be doing all the heavy lifting here to carry the interview in her inimitable sarcastic style. Chalk it up to simple nervousness; we've all been there. No harm, no foul. We just wish commoners like us could get a chance to interview people like Anna once in our lives.
