I’m Korean and I can’t speak for everyone but it’s very offensive to me. trans racial is not a thing. people are saying “if you can be transgender you can be transracial” which is wrong. let me give an example: when your parents are pregnant with a baby, the baby can be either female or male. which is why you can be trans. but let’s say both your parents are white, the baby is obviously going to come out white as well.

agreed. you can be born with different races, sure, but races are not acquired overtime. its something you're permanently born with and CANNOT change. therefore, 'transracial', is not a thing. its just not possible.

it's one thing to learn the language. it's a whole nothing thing to say you're korean but not know how to pronounce stuff properly. I've been learning korean for over a year on and off now and I know how he says words is way off. It's like he's making fun of the whole race by doing so. You can’t wish to be a certain race, ESPECIALLY IF THEY HAD BEEN DOWNGRADED FOR YEARS. And most of these “tRanSrAcIal” people just want to “reclaim” slurs they couldn’t say before. Its fetishizing and showing true obsessions with a certain race. Not only that, it literally makes the lgbtq community look like a joke (I’m lesbian). Cultural appropriation is already too much, changing a whole damn race will never sit right with me as a black woman, and I will continue to never accept it.
