Only 2 Northern White Rhinos exist in the entire world and they live at Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy in Kenya. Loss of habitat, war and poaching their valuable horns have brought these magnificent animals this close to extinction. Anneka visits Ol Pejeta and the conservationists fighting hard to save this species from disappearing forever.

I’m sorry if anyone gets offended. But It’s just that it’s not worth it, having all that money supporting these animals transferred towards other bigger problems would create a bigger impact to society. Some may argue that it’s a moral standard or that it’s just the right thing to do. But for real though, what’s the worse that could happen, they go extinct, so? Their numbers a so few that they hardly impact the ecosystem, plus if their numbers start rising that just means more maintenance and money needed , the plan is to one day finally send them back into nature, but with all the poaching happening, I don’t think that plan will ever happen.

I would like to distinguish hunting from poaching, for years there is no way to hunt northern white rhinos, and all the damage is done by poaching. And other reason I want to separate hunting from poaching is because of legalisation of hunting for southern white rhino their population jumped from less than a 100 in early 2010s to more than 30000 now, because after legalisation of their hunting private landowners started reintroducing them to their lands to attract rich hunters from europe or northern america. So in conclusion by hunting southern white rhinos we might be able to bring back northern white rhinos.

Spasoje Pavlović thanks 🙏...to clarify I’m not saying conservation efforts aren’t important for these animals, but that doesn’t mean other animals should be ignored and they defiantly shouldn’t draw as much attention to it as they do, a white Rhino dying is just as bad as a black rhino dying, but in our brains we see it differently however in reality both have the save value of life. If we really wanted to help endangered animals we would kill ourselves.

Now that I've watched the video and my nose is running, I sent a donation through PayPal. I hope it brings a bit of peace to you to know that your reaching out made that happen. I have so many thoughts swirling around about stopping this extinction, it would make a comment too long. It breaks my heart to see so much frivolity that our people care so much about, while this animal genocide is utterly ignored and allowed to happen. Shout out to Joseph and the great people of Ol Pejeta! I'm so proud of them. I'm proud of you too, Anneka. Thanks for going there, Anneka. Your heart is gigantic. We are blessed with good news! As of August 27 2019, 10 eggs have been successfully harvested and are being taken to a lab in Italy where they will be fertilized with sperm collected by the last of the males of the species before they died. From there the embryos will be transferred to a female surrogate mother. We can only wait and hope from there but I'm proud to see Ol Pejeta doing their best to stop this extinction. My heroes!!!

Dr. QuestionMark citing god being a negative to you means that you don’t value the sentiment in the first place. Which means you’ll always see it a negative light even if the sentiment is in good will. Also for undermining, You realize many of the scientists in the world, were those who wanted to understand gods creation, it’s just the negative aspects of history that are remembered the most. As It was greedy bastards that are found in any field that didn’t want their position threatened, or were so stubborn about new ideas they thrashed others. This issue even plagued the current scientific community, if you propose a new idea, they critique you, and bash you. Many of the higher ranking scientists, are snobs.

Hey animal lovers, currently in Brazil the great Amazon rainforest is being by forest fire. Please support.
@LadyCoyKoi
@LadyCoyKoi 4 жыл бұрын
Blame factory farms for that. More lands from the Amazon are being used for animal agriculture than anything else. There is direct correlation between rain-forest destruction and the rising increase consumption of meat. Do the research. By the way, that meat consumption isn't just local. Majority of the meat made from those factories are being exported to USA, Canada and European nations. Very little of the meat made from the factory farms in Brazil, Columbia and other South American nations are bought and eaten by the locals of those nations. First world nations eat too much meat which is why the natural resources such as rain forests are being bought and sold by the meat industry. Peoples' gluttonous, greedy, sense of entitlement is the reason why so much of the natural world is all disappearing. We humans still rely on the natural world for our survival, we aren't separated from that side of the planet. Humans are one of the most disconnected species on the planet.
