Tips on Catching up in your Scrapbook/Planner

Are you, like me, behind in your scrapbooking? Overwhelmed with where to start? In this video, I share my tips on how to catch up quickly. I scrapbooked these five spreads in an afternoon and it was easier than I thought. (I am working in my Elizabeth Craft Designs teal planner which is now discontinued, but there are other colors to choose from. The Desert Sand is my current favorite and I have linked to it below for you.)

Greetings from California from a new subscriber. I've watched for awhile but have not commented as I watch KZfaq on TV mostly. But you have posted so many great videos I just had to tell you that I love your style. I agree with you that a little cutesy goes along way. I like every page you have made. Seeing pages with photos are more interesting to me than ones without. I was an Elizabeth Craft fan already with her booth at Scrapbook Expo in Sacramento being my favorite. It was also cool to meet her. Now you have inspired me and I have started my first travelers notebook. All the best to you and thanks for sharing.

Annette - I just love watching you when you are creating, no matter what project, your creativeness is so, so informative and down to earth!!! Oh, and by the way, I love your Queen Bee on your arm - I had a very nice tattoo put on my left leg after my husband passed in 2005.

@@AnnetteGreen Thank you and yes he was a special man!!! We always went to Hawaii for Christmas and New Year's so the tattoo is a song title by Israel (Iz) Kamakawiwo"ole . The song is "In This Life" and if you Google it, listen to the words - a lot of his music was played and everyone was asked to wear Hawaiian attire. Iz passed away, long before my husband but the funeral was Hawaiian here in Texas - we loved Hawaii!!

Hello Annette. Love the video. good tip that you don't have to do the entire page at once. I like that idea a lot and will try it. Your bee tattoo is amazing - is it Jamie's artwork? what an amazing gift she has.

Hey Laura! Thanks. And yes, the tattoo is Jamie's artwork. They did this for me on Mother's Day, which made it extra special. They're still experimenting but I think they're pretty darn good at it too. I'll pass on your comment when I see Jamie again. Thanks again.

I heard you mention something briefly on the Graphic 45 card kits. Is that something new? Could you give more information on it. Thank you!

I don't think that was me who mentioned that, but they do have a wonderful ClubG45 program where you can subscribe and receive card making kits shipped to you with directions and step-by-step photos. Graphic 45 also does an assembly video for free to go along with those card kits on their KZfaq channel.

@@jessa7128 So, what I do is save in Folders in my Photos program, usually not by season necessarily, but more by topic. I always name my folders by the date first, then brief description of what's in the folder. For example: "05/22 Fall and Thanksgiving" or "03/22 Hiking Trip in NC". I hope that helps you.
