Welcome to my 2024 weekly project share! This week I'm sharing how easy it is to make your own art for your home or studio. I have been in need of something to fill a pretty frame in my studio, so today I create my own art and hope it helps give you the courage to try it too! Watch as I break down the process. Most products I've shown here today can be found in your local arts & crafts stores.

Wow to me that’s a gorgeous piece of art and I absolutely love it! Bravo for experimenting with trying to not be so controlled in the artwork…I am the same way that my pieces must be very precise….lol. Thanks for sharing the process and I’m thinking because you conquered the whimsical free spirit inside you that in the future you might make some accompanying works of art to add to your craft studio! Love your artwork. I didn't think I'd care for the black lines, but once you added them I changed my mind. I don't think I would make anything for my walls (space is at a premium), but I will give it a go in an art journal. Thanks for the idea. 😉

I couldn't do this as I'm not an artist. However, I liked it better on the white background as it made it pop more.

I'm not an artist either, so my hope was to show that anyone can do this. On such a large scale, it's a bit intimidating, but in an art journal page I think it's quite do-able for anyone. The fun is in the experimenting. Thanks for watching.

Thank you so much. Every decision I made, I was hesitant about, but figured it's the only way to learn, right? And it was very rewarding in the end. The image is something I found on Pinterest but did not pin, so sorry. I just saved the image. It's possible it was from Wayfair, but I'm just guessing.

I wish I had found the source so I could give credit, but the honest answer is I found it on Pinterest and just saved a copy of the image to my computer. Now I don't have any idea where it originated from. Sorry.
