I personally like the Cold War skin. To me it sort of looks like an urban legend that soldiers would talk about during that time period. But that's just me.

Yeah I loved it when I was younger, but now I’ve grown and see all the problems. I think it would be be better if he’s skin was a little bit burnt, like if it was burnt from a bomb. And the chains look cool but it would be better if there was something under there

13:41 Mortal Kombat 9's Scorpion base skin is my personal favorite. It was the first skin I ever played as in a Mortal Kombat as a whole. I find it to be really amazing. Idk about you guys, but that skin is #1 for me.

His Injustice design is actually my most favorite look of the character. Second would have to be his MK9 base design, which they definitely made even better in MK11.

MKX is my personal favorite, I love how, I guess ninja like, it looks. I also really like the samurai motifs in his MK11 default and I also like the scorpion details in his MK9 default. His Deception skin is also amazing

Good rule set. MK 11 would take a LONG while for each individual one (and they ware pretty much pallette swaps in of themselves.)

Gold scorpion is my personal favourite and I almost always rock it when playing MKX. Also I’d love to see more costume rankings particularly with reptile, milena and barkka

I gotta say Nick I’ve been waiting for this video for a long time and it’s definitely as good as I was hoping! I was actually surprised that the injustice skin was ranked so low. That’s not to say I don’t disagree with your list in anyway but I think we were all thinking it’d be in one of the top spots. Based off your recent poll I’m gonna say sub zero will be next and I can’t wait to see where this series goes. You’ve earned my subscription😊

I may have not liked MK11 for a couple reasons but I will say the base classic skin for Hanzo is EASILY my favorite that he’s ever worn! Looks awesome! Also I actually really like DA’s inferno skin. Could just be nostalgia tho.

Amazing video 🤩 one small thing I'd note is that it's kinda hard to see the details in some of the combat clips because it is so dark. You might want to consider filming those on more brightly lit stages in future rankings (where possible), especially for the less brightly coloured kombatants 😅

Ok, this might sound really dumb but my favourite scorpion design is is mkx default skin. MKXL is my first ever mortal kombat game so it holds a special place in my heart, my only reason for liking it is purely sentimental lol. Great vid btw! Looking forward to the next episode of this series! You should totally do sub-zero next👀

I'm not sure how familiar you are with the concept arts in Deadly Alliance, but the neat part in terms of just reusing assets to make something new. Inferno Scorpion's entire outfit from MK:DA is just making use of his original design before it changed appearance to his primary costume bodywise.

Honestly his primary in deception is one of my favorites. With a few adjustments (like a different mask and smaller shoulders) I think it could easily be my absolute favorite.

I used to love playing scorpion ( as scorpion ) on the mk 2 arcade and seeing the orangish tint lol , not my favorite but definitely nastolgic, the minds behind the entire franchise is top tier and have so many badass options

MK11 Scorpion gotta be my favorite, not just the design, but the character as a whole... The way he still driven by anger, but he controls his anger now, he isn't just fast but he is also methodical and more technical NRS really done a god tier job designing Hanzo in MK11

I have been waiting for this Video for a Year and while it was Challenging and Difficult it's was Worth the Wait and in the Makd that you did a Fantastic Job NickPakPadyWak,Scorpion is a Character with Great Design,Sure he has some Stingers and I'm Not a Fan of the Other MK11 Scorpion Designs,But I Love the Majority of Them,MK1,MK2,and MK3are Classic and Nostalgic that are Impossible Not to Love,MK4,Injustice,and MK9 are so Underrated,MK Deception Alternated and Armageddon are Good,and My Personal Favorites are MK Shaolin Monks,MK9 Alternated,MK vs. DC,MKX Gold,and Equally the Best Ones of them All MKX and MK11 Primary Skins.

In my opinion the blue coloring underneath the yellow ruins Scorpion’s MKD alternate/MKA primary costume for me personally, I just don’t think blue colors of any kind belong on a Scorpion costume. Other than that, I do have a lot of nostalgia for it

If I had to pick Favorites, heres how I would rank them: MK3 is my fav. Klassic skin (Like the more slim feel of it compared to the first 2, and doesn't have the weird hood of 4) Deception/Unchained is my favorite 3D era skin (Nostalgia, and also I really like how it's mostly black, the bulkiness of it is cool to me since he's not wearing literal knight Armor, and I really like the padded texture some parts of it has), MK11 Netherrealm Rage is my favorite NRS era skin(The Red mixes so well with the black and yellow, the mask on this one is also the best out of these 3). If I had to choose between these, it'd be Deception/Unchained partially because that was one of my first videogames, also I just like Armor on nimble characters for some reason.

I personally liked the MK9 alt scorpion skin the way it is. I remember not being able to decide which costume to pick between default and that one because the two were my favorite. Though I didn't really like the MKX scorpion design, I played the Klassic, Tournament or Hanzo outfit.

Thank you for pointing that out. For whatever reason, Scorpion is the only one where the art and game have different designs. I decided to highlight both in the segment-which I should’ve mentioned beforehand. Thankfully, when i cover the more characters later, this won’t be an issue. Thanks for pointing that out!

His DA costume is my favorite. It was the only game where he was my main. Though a lot of that has to do with my two mains Ermac and Liu Kang not being in the game. The DA costume is not overly done and fits the ninja motif.

The only rule I’m confused about is MK 11’s customization you said they were going to be no DLC skins on the list and yet you included the Cold War skin from Mortal Kombat X and earlier you said you would put the classic skins on one entry.

I think you're gonna have to make a special exception to the "no klassic skin" rules for some characters... and I mean specifically Reptile in MKX. Unlike other characters, who just... look like their previous appearances, Reptile gets the ninja clothes but he still has the green scaly skin and face, even though in MK9 he did just have human skin

20:15 is so nostalgic and simple it’s not to much or little , for me this is my favorite version of Scorpion the young and undead one who is always raging for me this is his prime version and his outfit is upgraded ninja outfit and colors fits him everything even how he yells “GET OVER HERE ” is perfect, his spare is also Goated

I would assume his MK4 is homage to classic smoke since he's a gray pallet swap. What's wrong with a flaming scorpion 😭 Umk3 scorpion is actually pretty legendary with his Sprite animations because of said outfit. And I think you're probably the first channel to ever say anything positive about Mortal Kombat versus DC lol although I did have my disagreements this is still a solid list. Nice video 🔥
