I'm from Ukraine and Stalker has been a part of my life ever since my childhood (father's idea to encourage a 6 years old me to go into bloodsucker catacombs at night probably wasn't a smart one. Anyways). I watch and enjoy and like almost every video you put out, but I don't think I commented anything yet. I just want to say that your passion for the game and the universe it exists in really, really shows. Every detail is right, down to calling the weapons soviet if they were engineered in the USSR period. Thanks for another nice video. If I may suggest, it would be cool if you did an arsenal overview of the various armors found in the Zone. I think that they could be divided in several ways into different groups, so they would be easy to make videos for in parts like the guns.

Little addition: The SVD had a lot of variants as well. Specifically the SVD M2. I have encountered that variant IRL, while working for the police in Hungary. The variant has polimer furniture, and a bit more easy to maintain compared to earlyer variants (SVDS, SVDM). Also, did i understand correctly, that you gonna talk about weapon modifications? Oh boy... That's a deep rabbit hole. There are some modifications to parts that doesn't even exist in some guns.

You could also mention that one of the only three ways to obtain Bulldog 6 in Clear Sky is winning faction war for Bandits, implying that at the time of CS, they were powerful enough to stash some of those weapons (while they were never using it themselves).

As I watch the series it is fun to speculate how each faction got their hands on their weapons. Like Freedom probably got access to the SVD from their military base or how the Monolith was able to capture and use all kinds of weapons but only use the best. It's obvious for the Military but factions like Bandits and Free stalkers have to source weapons from smuggling or exploring.

Upgrades next huh? Man is about to go into detail on the history of carbon fiber and ceramic plates

I have a suggestion for a video: what happened to Strelok after the ending of SOC, is the canon ending of SOC or the walkthrough through the CNPP a dream or an illusion or something, is the Strelok seen in COP actually a clone/an agent sent by the C-con? The vintar is a very good weapon, but the rp-74 is very fun to play. You can simply spary down enemies with it.

In clear sky I decided to keep the tank gun version of the RP-74 for myself instead of finishing the quest. It proved to come handy when (if I recall correctly) fought monoliths in Limansk and later in the indoor ruins heading for the Chernobyl reactor. Needless to say it saves my ass in combo with the exoskeleton 😎👌

The VSS is definitely the standout weapon by a mile. Perfect in nearly every range and the Bulldog is just for s*** and giggles. As for the snipers and the rpg, they seem to be pretty inefficient in my opinion. The gaus, on the other hand, can be useful but it is very situational.

In Clear Sky the SVD was used by military Stalkers I think.

Can't go wrong with the classic Dragunov SVD Think that's even my main sniper rifle in most games where there isn't a Mosin or a Springfield 1903

also bro forgot to mention the super special totally not hidden behind a trainer "Bulldog M209" that shoots m209 grenades instead of vog-25 grenades which would make for a shitty grenade launcher as the vog-25 is caseless and the m209 uses a case to store the explosion so you'd have to pull out the cases with a pocket knife or something so it'd take longer for you to reload
