Hello, Sword Friends!
In this edition, I am thrilled to introduce our first budget line Nagamaki, keeping my promise to design and forge a high-quality yet affordable sword.
Basic Specifications:
Overall Length with Saya: 136 cm (53.5 inches)
Blade Material and Length: Spring Steel, 71 cm (28 inches)
Tsuka (Handle): 60 cm (23.6 inches)
Nakago (Tang): 36 cm (14.2 inches)
Weight without Saya: 1180 grams (2.6 lbs)
P.O.B (Point of Balance): 7 cm (2.75 inches) from the Tsuba
As a budget line sword from Swordier, we offer two design options featuring different color matches and ito materials-one with cotton and another with faux leather. Please note, this Nagamaki is not full tang, and the hamon is purely cosmetic due to the through-hardened blade.

Nice presentation and cool design. The dark one looks more classic. Given the 36cm nakago length, a 40cm tsuka would indeed be better. Do you know ninja-katana reseller? They show the tang length and it is about the same with naginqta-n. I have one and it's very cool. To the prospective buyer, the Swordier 65Mn spring steel is excellent. Better than 9260 or 5160 from abrasion and hard impact. I find it way above the Cloudhammer 51CrV4 steel. Heat treatment is top level with Swordier, worth the price just for the blade itself.

Thanks for sharing, Ninja-katana that I didn't know. i will do the research, we are thinking to make one Naginata with 40 or 60 cm nakago with full tang and pattern weld, we will see if it's good in terms of cutting performance with reasonable B.O.P.

A really nice looking sword. I will check it out in 1-2 weeks. Also I like the bohis style, very nice! The fake hamon is not my choice, I hope there will be an option to get it without it.
