In 1990, I was riding in the semi with my dad. Actually hauling those brand new 9500 combines right from the John Deere Combine Factory in Moline or East Moline, ILL.; to Monroe, WI with an old GMC cabover semi, might of been a Mack semi. God bless to ur family.

My son farms about 800 acres of beans and corn. We still use a 9500 with a 25 ft. bean head and 8 row corn head. Still a great machine!

Those 9500s are great machines. You’ll start to see countershaft and sheeve problems around 4-4500 separator hours. We had one customer with over 8k hours on one with regular maintenance. Thanks for the video.

First combine I drove when I was probably 12 to 13 was a 8820 and then in high school I helped a guy that I played softball with do custom combing in a brand new 9500. was a fun time.

Maybe it's at the end of the video, but when do you hammer mill the corn? Seems like it would feed out better to have it milled before going into the silo.
