I have pale skin, very pale skin and I have a fully warm undertone as a warm spring.

People have always told me (a very pale person) I have cool skin, but the day I dyed my hair a warmer color it became immediately apparent that wasn’t true... I swear my skin became immediately healthier looking, I was actually quite shocked!

Being pale made is soooo hard to figure out my understand. Those vein quizzes and stuff never worked. It has now clicked that I get the most compliments and feel best when I wear warmer tones. Such as greens, yellows, browns, blacks, Reds, or purples(sometimes). Vs blues, white, peach, pink, and so on. All "pale" completion products look crazily pink on me, like a colour corrector. I look best in gold, silver makes me look sickly I've noticed. And when I dyed my hair blue, it was pretty but didn't blend in with me very well, not until it faded to teal green. Or how I thought my rosacea, freckles, and skin warmth(redness from blood) meant I had pink undertone. Despite that making no sense, because if you're pale, you're going to see alllllll the colours underneath. I hope this can help some people still struggling because I know the pain of those "what's your undertone?"

Awesome video!!! Her skin looks amazing in the orange dress on the tan couch. I think what also throws people off is a pale skinned autumn has a high contrast so the softer shades of autumn don’t work as well, we need the richer tones or a pop of brightness.

The fact that I'm pale has been really confusing me when I try to figure out what my undertones are and what colors I should wear. I feel like both gold and silver looks good on me. My skin looks yellow but my veins are purple and some are green. If I'm standing, my skin gets blotchy, pink but if I'm sitting and relaxed, my skin remains one tone: yellow. Orange looks terrible on me, yellow can look good if I'm tan. Red looks good on me, purple looks bad, dark colors can wash me out but black seems to be okay. I'm just confused

@@ourcozycorner8517 yea I can do both bright spring and bright winter but not every color in each category. It’s not a perfect system for some and that’s ok. I also just wear the style of clothes I like cause that makes a dif too. I wear what I like but make sure to wear the tone of color that suits me best. True orange for ex doesn’t look good on me but a really vibrant rich almost neon but a little darker orange (red orange) does so you just gotta customize things to suit your specific issues and your style

@@blue-lotus6943 oh wow! Nice. I’m glad you figured out what works for you. I keep thinking maybe I’m more flattered by the deep autumn palette, but I’m so fair so…I don’t know. 😂 but I have figured out though I would likely “fit” soft autumn, I don’t look good in the lighter colors. I need more visual weight or something. More intensity…but not too much. Lol medium intensity, medium chroma, and colors that are close to neutral but lean warm. 🤷🏼‍♀️ whatever that is. 😂

This was amazing. Her color is so similar to mine and I've always thought I was cool just because I'm pale. I tested it with draping and I do think I'm indeed warm!

I knew a girl in my school years who was part polish, she was extremely blond, blue eyes and very pale. I remember having a birthday party and she went there wearing orange and OMG she looked amazing. Looking back now I see how she could have been considered a cool undertone at first glance.

I used to be very tanned living in the tropics so naturally I thought I had warm skin. I love gold, but silver really pops on me. I do have starbursts in my green grey eyes and medium tone hair. everyone in my family is a lot darker than me, with rich warm skin tones, but I’ve been told I look good in light blues and grey and I know I can’t pull off the same rich colours they do.

It’s so annoyingggggg how everyone automatically assume I’m cool tone because I’m pale. When I go to the makeup counter and they swatch pink foundations on me and it looks like Peto Bismol on my skin. 😂😂😂

I’d love your opinion - I watched a different video that said people with extremely pale skin are always cool and bright due to the almost total absence of their natural pigment which is dominated by the extreme lightness which reads as bright, but this can change to make them cool and soft or warm and soft in summer time when they pick up more of their natural pigment. That is definitely me. I’m pale than Courtney but in summer while I don’t tan, I pick up a slight yellow tint to my neck and face. I’m a redhead and stuck between being bright or soft, warm or cool.

I THINK I'm a deep winter but... I have green eyes... From the eye pattern video I think I'm neutral. I honestly can't tell if I'm warm or cool, I suspect neutral leaning cool but I don't know if that's just personal preference with colours (plus I live in black so... I'm used to seeing it every single day) , obviously I could be completely wrong 😂.

My daughter is this way. We are both very pale, but she has red in her hair, and looks much better in spring colors whereas I’m a Summer. she’s warm, I’m cool…

I am pale and have yet to figure out if I'm warm spring or soft autumn but I know I'm warm for sure. I can wear colors from both but they are pretty similar palettes

They definitely are different palettes... way different... warm spring is warm undertone, med value, med intensity... soft autumn is neutral-warm undertone, low intensity (the lowest out there) and med value... 🎨🌟♥️

what would you consider her undertone / overall skintone? this is the closest representation i've ever seen to my skin and it's been so frustrating trying to figure mine out.

I actually think she may be olive undertone, which in itself can be warm or cool

@@SueRosalie I believe that’s a very simplistic way of thinking of it. It’s like saying that everyone w pink skintone is cool toned. Yes many olive skin tones may fall into winter category but it is not this straightforward. If you look at the olive skin tone sources there are many POVs and overall understanding of olivetoned folks and also Color analysis experts is that they can be warm toned, neutral and yes cool.

She is obviously warm and muted. Here in Mexico people are super racist and often say that all colors fit pale skin people and that tan or dark skin people cannot go for other colors rather than very dark colors for the hair. It is outrageous because I am cool and bright and have darker skin.

I am even paler than her, look sick in all School photos next to my tan friends! But please tell me.... everybody says im not olive toned but warm because of my green Moss hazely eyes and warm Dark blonde hair, but WHY THEN do i use makeup for asian skin tones (mixed with White) and have to mix every foundation with blue to make them neutral almost Grey/green? Seriously, i slather on warm almond green primers and im ready to go, no white cast just corrected skin! Just tell me if you need examples for a video and I will gladly send you my photos! (Ps i have self tanner on in my thumbnail photo! Yea, really). Love your videos!

Undertones are cool, warm, neutral, neutral-cool and neutral-warm ... olive is a skin tone, very different from undertone 🎨♥️🌟 but, totally understand what you are saying... this is another very misunderstood skin tone.... agreed

Carol Brailey so how would you know if you are neutral-warm or have olive skin? How do you differ all those VERY NEUTRAL people out there? I dont look good in orange, but i look awesome in jewel colors, burgundy, all Greens especially warm ones, and i think i look overpowered in bright colors but meriamstyle told me i have bright eyes... i would love for you to use my example on KZfaq like she did to compare. She didn’t believe i have olive skin, but it’s the closest ive come to a true color. My closest march foundation is actually from smashbox called light olive! And
