After they are cooked You roll them in spices and fry then in a pan or even an airfryer. They are a crunchy snack.

Thank you Tamara! I found that at Salvation Army to use for a drip plate for a potted plant. I found 2 of them. I like the design. It says Better Homes and Gardens on the back.

This is my dinner tonight: Greek salad, cucumbers, chicken peas, onion, diced celery w/lemon vinaigrette. Love Chic peas. Very versatile.

I used to make hummus using canned chickpeas b/c of the cost of ready-made vs homemade......I'd read that it tastes better using fresh cooked from dried then soaked chickpeas...so I did that...for me the effort and time involved vs the ease of opening a can wasn't worth the trouble b/c I couldn't tell any difference in the final result. BUT...that was a long time ago when canned garbanzo/chickpeas in the can were cheap...now I'd have to compare the price of dried vs canned. I also used to make an Indian dish using chickpeas...can't even remember what it was called, b/c it's been sooo long ago...Indian food is my favorite ethnic cuisine too. You'd think I'd remember. HA. I'm playing the age card..lol.
