Say hello to the newest truck on the channel! It’s a 2001 f350, with a 7.3 under the hood.

At least you bought a Ford with a deserving Powerstroke. I love the 7.3 trucks, the big thing I would recommend doing to it is changing the torque converter in the original automatic transmission, if it fails, it will take your transmission with it. Also put in a 6.0 trans cooler to prevent overheating.

TS performance 6 position chip, WW2 compressor wheel, diamond eye 4” down pipe and a 4” or 5” straight piped exhaust. You’ll pick up between 3 and 5 mpg as long as you keep your foot out of it.

That is a newer bed 11 to 16 u should swap the rest of the body to that style

first i would fix that roof if the rest of that cab is still solid i would get a new skin for the roof. mod wise intake exhaust wheels and a hydra hydra if u wanted to tune it some it wakes them up pretty good

Make sure it has forged rods

100 percent doesn't have forged rods being an 01, that's a load of crap anyway I have a powdered metal rod motor with 275/200 injectors and an s400 been running it for 2 years and it's holding just fine, you will bend a forged rod and break a powdered rod if the injection TIMING is tuned wrong.

@@strokinbaby965 thats not true bud.. you cant even tell by just the year.. it goes by engine number and some early 01 engines have forged and some late 02 engines also.

@@chrischapman7452 there's a select few 01s with forged rods extremely rare. Never seen one yet and I've seen plenty of 7.3s. bud.

You cant be serious.. you say 100 that i doesnt have forged rods because its an 01, i say some early 01 engines have them, now you say there are some with forged rods.. thats not 100% i bet you've seen plenty of em drive down the road lol mind your own.
