Got a 2006 f250 with a ppump 24 valve swap, to get this thing to shift and pull like a dream is easy. I got a 1600 stall Goerend torque converter for the 5r trans for the tune go to Bless tunes and get the 6.0 tune for the street tow tune.

I love your rig bro, I'm looking into getting an 08 f450 fummins 24v that's p pump swapped also. I run a 04 Silverado 2500hd 6.0 for my business towing a 14ft gooseneck dump trailer plus a 12ft bumper pull dump trailer and while it's never quit on me the fuel mileage sucks obvi and the power is terrible. I just love the way the 08-10 f series look and a Cummins swapped one just takes the cake.

That is my dream truck! I currently have a 2000 f250 7.3 4x4 and im eager to build a fummins dually. Looking to buy a gov surplus mail truck and pull the 5.9 and tranny for the swap.

You can make the trans lockup in 1st gear with a sct tunner. There's another KZfaq that has a fummins with a compound turbo 12v with a 5r110 he uses a sct tuner to control trans locks ever shift

Just tuning and a throttle sensor to allow the tune to know what throttle % is at at all times. Previous tuner had it only lock up in last gear, and throttle sensor was set to 16% all the time.

Yup! Tuning and a new gas pedal for sensor data for the tuning to work properly. Tunes can make a huge difference

What’s not to be impressed about? He took a truck that couldn’t tow an empty trailer and made it into a tow pig with just tuning!

@@ShiftedInterests he was the guy that actually fixed it... He tuned my d max and I have problems with it all the time I guess he's a Cummins guy only🤷

O and he is really hard to get a hold of he had to re tuned my truck 4 times and it's still not right
