the only reason being is the same reason why people still go to those "medieval knights" shows. To people in vegas, a VGK's game is just another thing to do while in the city. Most of the VGK fans are just people trying to party. Which, ok yeah it hypes the arena, but so much of this is just showboating and theatrics for pea brained tourists who think hockey has quarters and gets confused when players arent fighting 24/7.

Yo trust me, at playoff games, we're the loudest place you'll ever find. I was at game 4 of the WCF 2018, and the only thing that was different was that we didn't have glow sticks.

Loudest building I've ever been in. I grew up near Anaheim moved to Arizona then to Vegas and now back to Arizona for work. Out of all 3 arenas, this blows the other two away. The building literally shakes between the music, goal horn, and crowd. Glad Vegas has a team now closer to me that doesn't have ownership issues. Go Knights Go!

Yeah, I lived in Arizona for 16 years. I moved to Washington State just last year. I was a Coyotes fan for all of my life, then I switched over to the Seattle Kraken when I moved. I've been to the Gila River Arena, the Climate Pledge Arena, and now I've been going to the ShoWare Center for my Seattle Thunderbirds. I have to say, the Climate Pledge Arena and the ShoWare Center are absolutely STUNNING in comparison to the Gila River Arena.

Good luck with a ticket... even at a preseason game 17,000 seats were filled and there's so many season ticket holders. This city ADORES our Golden Knights!

Very impressed with how the Las Vegas Organization has handled this expansion, it is incredibly well managed. This intro insanely fucking hype and this a desert-dwelling southern team. So happy for the city, the franchise, and the sport. Although it still does not beat Montreal's 2015 playoffs intro. What could though lol

As an Avs fan also... I find this pre game stuff way overboard. Its borderline cringy. Shitty acting and the Ice projection system is lackluster compared to many others in the league. However, I do like the lit sticks or whatever you call them.

Thanks so much for posting this. I got some nice still pictures from my seats but this is nice to watch again! I went to 8 Playoff Games last year and I was at this one. I liked this one the best so far even though we copied the glow stick opening. Energy was crazy and oh after 16 seconds of Puck Drop the Stone Goal had everyone reeling!!! Sharks didn't stand a chance after that goal!!

Finalized my Mom's effects in late 2017, sold her property in N Las Vegas, just west of Downtown. Homeless sleeping in tents and boxes in the park up from the ballfield. Drunks, meth addicts, people yelling at traffic up and down Maryland Parkway all the way past the hospital. Not the same place when i went to school there for a couple years in the 80's. It's a shithole.

I'm glad the Vegas Golden Knights and the Seattle Kraken have their own brand new arenas. The usage of the projections on the ice is absolutely FANTASTIC. I'm surprised nobody else has picked up on that yet.

I was there in Jan for the Knights vs Devils and Knights Rangers. Knights won both games. Incredible city and best atmosphere. GO KNIGHTS GO!!! The fans are the best!

Brian Kelly nope, our hockey league has like six teams across the country and don’t even have an arena. The “stands” for about 50 people and they aren’t even in my city.
