Your ideas on spices have taken my beans to another level. I store the cooked beans in that flavoured gravy and often just have the liquid as a soup. Delicious! Thanks Jack 🥰

I also like to add a few bay leaves into the cooking water... gives it that extra little something something that bay leaves impart to food.

I just put the lid on the pot and put it in the fridge. 🙂
