I take you around my classes, share my approaches to study, and talk through some of the interesting things I’ve been learning about in neurology. Sebastian Pirie hey! Just want to say I randomly bumped into your video and appreciate the effort especially the explanations. I’ve always wanted to be a med student but financially wasn’t able to. Only manage to get a scholarship and end with a psych degree. But have been in love with neurology ever since learning it in uni. Always learning and your videos are great with the infos around ❤️✌🏻 keep it up!!

Be safe out there! Melb uni already closed and turn all lec and tut into online class. Even the science degree who involve lab workshop, uni defer the program to next semester. I just had a culture shock that Sydney uni hadn’t shutdown! 😂 it’s interesting when u laid on bed get noticed that your school had closed, scrolling productive video to motivate study at home... and seeing other uni keep open 😂 I am envy... missed the usual school days.. go to lec.. and sitting your secret area in uni drinking coffee while u having break

Oh wow its you! I read your story on Late to Med School and it really was inspiring. I'm in the same boat as you where I'm currently getting myself back on track to get into Medicine, but there is so much cultural pressure surrounding me I feel very stressed and that I won't have enough time to get into Medicine. Omg i just went on a tangent haha. Anyways all the best with your Med journey and hopefully I can join you at Monash or Sebastian as Usyd some day!

Thanks for posting this, I am a pre med student in the USA and the whole pandemic has really killed my study mode. Everything switched from in class to online in less than a week. @@siddhantsourav9192 What I have been doing is trying to not let the fatigue from the whole covid situation mess with my sleep schedule. Having a proper nights sleep is probably the most important thing for studying effectively in my opinion. I don't retain much information when my sleep schedule is irregular. Other things that have helped me are getting exercise, taking regular breaks, setting alarms and having small frequent meals all in a schedule. Being organized usually is not a natural habit but learning it and mastering it really helps tremendously when trying to improve studying habits and life habits in general. Hopefully this helps and let me know if you have any useful tips as well. I'm always open to good self improvement advice. 😀👍

@Giovanna Tucci I live in Syria .. Medical school takes 6 years here. We study basic medical sciences in the first 3 years followed by clinical subjects for 2 years and we do clinical rotations in hospitals in the last year.

Not that I'm aware of. The exit exams set by our specific medical school serve as the qualifying exam for Medical Board registration :)
