Thanks for the video, I would like to ask about sekka hinoki shohin size. Sacrificial branch is recommend to thicken the main trunk or is it detrimental for the development of the branches. Also when is the best time for hard pruning sekka? Than you in advance :)

thank you for the video. You said that you are using seedlings of white pine with many buds or with yellow spots (hanabi?). But are they seedlings from a similar tree? Or are you selecting seedlings with the good features among many seedlings?

Hello. could you tell us how pine trunks are thickened using wire? If the lower part of the barrel is tightly tied with wire, how will this affect the thickening? Do I need to remove the wire later or does it completely grow into the tree? Thank you
