Nicely done, one of the best videos on four fletch. When I fletch with the AAE vanes I make sure to use alcohol or acetone to clean the base of the vane

If you can get your hands on some "UHU Poly Max" glue you might want to give this a try for "tipping and tailing". It's clear, very sticky and dries into hard/elastic. I think it's the best and most robust glue I've ever had for glue spots that have to withstand hard impacts.

Your should nock tune the arrow and fletch based on the nock tune for each arrow.

i have found - AAE Max vanes, you should use a glue primer on vane before gluing.

Yes those vanes would have come off minutes after this video because he didn’t use the primer pen. Primer pen is a must!!

Great video with the exception of aligning using the the factory wraps I would spine them myself for the knocks then fletch accordingly, still good presentation

been doin tips and tails for many years. that is actually old school. it helps a lot. learned that trick when the whisker biscuit first came out and kept having to refletech constantly.

cjr4497 it came out way before the whisker biscuit brother. It was used on feathers on cane arrows years ago but it was hide glue back then or pine pitch. Good video.

Hi, one of the better demo videos I have seen. I was wondering, were you using the stock Straight clamp or were you using the helical clamp? I only ask because I have seen target archers using helical clamps when attaching four fletches.

You need the Cali-Bitz decal to know what degree you’re fletching at. 👍🙏🏹

I use Gorilla super glue. I'll press vane for 10 seconds, wipe and pull the clamp. Works great!

What causes the vane to be crooked or irregular spacing. I’m doing the same process you just show’d only w/ straight cane and can’t seem to get consistent results..

You says you do the 4-90's an I've read that 75x105 is better for hunting arrows any reason why? I guess it might depend on broadhead setup 3 or 4 razors or not? I haven't did any 4 vane yet and wanting to know!

Wear rubber gloves when using acetone, otherwise is it is absorbed through your skin and can give you huge migraine headaches !! SE

It was used historically with recurve and long bows in order to provide a little more clearance around the riser while still giving a large amount of feather surface area to stabilize the arrow.
