Abstract:
Professor Meneses comments that this kind of piece required maximum expression from the performer. The key is the ‘agitato’, which gives the character. It is very important he contrast with the second melody because is the calm moment. The bow should project all the passion contained in the movement. They work on the most appropriate fingerings to get the best sound. They also talk about staccato, vibrato, long notes and accents. In the powerful passage, the student should show all his energy. Finally, Meneses explains the phrasing and all the details of the lyrical part.
