I lived in Oahu for 15 years as a Foreigner . Now In Las Vegas. I truly enjoyed Korean -Hawaiian dishes. I became a regular customer at a tiny Korean mom n pop location near Palama. I tried to made meat jun at home. Chef Mr Choi wrote a meat june recipe in the Honolulu Advertising Newspaper back in those days . Only once in my life I made Meat Jun. Onolicious! I do miss Korean-Hawaiian food. Aloha🤙

I used to like Soon's. Theirs is very thin. I consider Salt Lake to be part of town. Definitely not West Side. 😊 Have you tried Sam's Delicattesan on Nuuanu Ave. I like their chicken katsu and fish jun.

hidden gem, palama market in kalihi has a korean bbq takeout.

@@antonioagosto and I've never seen soons meat jun look that egg must have been a bad day. 35years of loving soons here. I love you videos and appreciate it. I haven't been home in years but to see this and to show my kids and new ohana. Mahalo. Do little quick stops I miss my one in Ewa Beach.

I would love to grab some Ono grindz. But cant make home yet. I could eat soon's all day. Teri chicken, kalbi to die for, kim chi. Brudha then go north shore. Good eats. Hale'iwa food trucks bomb, killer tacos if still there, matsumoto ice i could go ooooonnnn.
