Does anyone wake up with fear already? Like its in the pit of your stomach and chest… Ive been watching Shaans videos and boy has it helped me but when I get that symptom it throws me off.. and also out of nowhere I get this symptom now around my menstrual since I know the hormones are more strong, I feel this heaviness in my head, fatigue, weakness and depressed. I still don’t feel like myself, but I know in time I will. Its a process

27:49 jays story is so close to mine , I am still recovering, but I woke up high for months , it even got worse some days where I was so disfunctional and anxiety was to the roof. I am now at the point where I still don't feel fully myself and have a weird physical symptom with that is mostly caused from light sensitivity, it's really weird

Your body is no different from anyone else's who have fully recovered. You have an amazing ability to heal and its waiting for you to create the space to allow it. You can recover if you allow your body to. Shaans videos are a great place to start but a crucial missing aspect of recover is MUSCLE RELAXATION. Look up Jordan Hardgrave he explains in detail about self regulation

@@Truth_Bringerxx Since recovering from anxiety and anything related to it is basically about clearing up the "misunderstanding" between your lizard brain and your modern brain (as the hypersensitivity of your nerves is created by this feedback loop) doing anything to get a relief of anxiety can only take you so far because even though it may help in the moment to ease the symptoms it keeps reinforcing the notion that there's something you need to fix. Which for your lizard brain is again like confirmation of danger. Do people that never had a problem with anxiety self regulate 24/7? Nope. :) Overcoming anxiety, panic, DP/DR, OCDs and so on fully is about just living life like any person that doesn't have problems with anxiety without having to DO SOMETHING to remain in that state. I'm talking as someone who have recovered watching Shaan's videos and going through four different psychologists and therapist prior that - childhood trauma, CBT, breathing techniques, muscle relaxations... I saw a relief to a certain point but I wasn't OUT by any stretch of imagination. So do whatever you feel helps you I just felt it's important to point out that acceptance and self regulation are kinda going against each other in some aspects.

@@unchainedmikki thanks for the reply Perhaps I misspoke when I used the word "missing". I think self regulation is a powerful addition to acceptance. Self regulation can really improve your stress levels. It isn't necessarily the missing element to recovery however it can speed up the time it takes to heal in my own observations. It's incredibly hard to be anxious in a relaxed body. By going against what you body wants to do by tensing your muscles you aren't fighting the anxiety, you are teaching your nervous system that the environment is safe by consistently losseming tension in the muscles. Many people walk around with so much tension without knowing it and they are feeding their stress response without knowing. I think Shaan is amazing, and acceptance theory works, but muscle relaxation is a powerful tool too

Same as the body symptoms....it's just the kind playing tricks on you. It's anxiety burning itself off through thoughts trying to keep itself alive with giving u crazy thoughts and worry .... Just sit with it. Let it pass . read a book. Drink a tea. Let the thoughts come and don't try to stop them!!! It's just anxiety.adrenaline.

Does anyone have the sensation that you cant breathe thru nose, and like you need to cough to breathe better but you can't. Or severe breast pain,and armpits. I also have low heartbeat like in the 30s to mid 40s, even tho ive been diagnosed with tachycardia. I also have digestive issues, most things I eat I spit up. Hard to keep food on my stomach. I can eat chicken, greenbeens, pinto beans and sometimes mac and cheese. Without throwing it up. And thats about all I can eat

I need some feedback I have this in the morning I wake up early and the anxiety builds it’s like nervous energy I have a little nausea the rest of symptoms are heart symptoms but that doesn’t bother me it’s the nervousness energy and feeling like I can’t relax. I have been to the doctors several blood test ekg mri and ct scan. Functional doctor and the er several time every one says it anxiety. I battle my thoughts of what if it’s this did they miss something or maybe it’s this. Health anxiety. The symptoms seen to last until evening or early afternoon and go away or almost go away then the cycle starts again. It just seem like I have this feeling of nervousness all the time. Does anyone else have that??
@infinitepossibilities337
@infinitepossibilities337 10 ай бұрын
I know it’s 7 months later but yes Teresa. This is extremely common. I had the same feelings. Worse in morning, better at night- which is just due to cortisol levels. Nothing to be worried about. The way out is acceptance. It’s extremely uncomfortable but it’s not dangerous, and your body isn’t broken. You have to just let it be there and focus on other things in life. Over time, this way, it will go away

I know this is gonna be reassurance seeking but atleast rite now I could use a little. My issues of anxiety is the physical symptoms. I don’t struggle with dpdr etc etc. What I do have though is almost 24/7 physical symptoms I won’t go into what they are. The only reason I lost asking this is it seems most posters here only tend to have physical symptoms when doing something that makes them anxious. Just curious if it’s normal of anxiety to be with you all the time physically even when your not anxious? I have been to the doctor several times blood work done,3ekgs,and a echo. I wanna accept this is anxiety but so hard for me when i have this stuff all the time it just doesn’t seem normal to me I have no safe space where I can feel normal.
