I was born in the Caribbean with very strict and protective parents. My parents always gave more freedom to my brothers. My brothers are men now with their own families. My father's old school approach affected my brothers greatly. I believe that fathers influence their son and the son absorb a lot from them. When those sons have a family of a family of their own, they practice all the old school habits from their dad. It does not matter how much the mother instill in them. Have a good weekend ladies. My dear Amaka, how many will you test before you decide on one? Prov 3:5-6 teaches us to not lean on our own understanding but to acknowledge God in all of our ways and he will direct our path. Human wisdom fails where godly wisdom thrives!! Until we start using God’s template (his word) in our everyday life, we will just be missing road up and down! Life comes with a manual, and that manual is the BIBLE!!
