I really like this 10 K, people always ask what is it ? hahaha... and the truck has the 460 , strong as hell and really runs great. does not burn oil and starts every time. Tim has done a few radios for me, a Cobra 29, Grant XL, and 2, Anytone 6666's. I have a Cobra 2000 that I'll probably have him do some mods too, it needs a refresh. Anyway, Tim is really cool and he does great work. My base station is a icom 7300 with a Heil sound system and a Maco 4 element and a Sirio 827 ground plane. But I will be talking on my 2000 when I get it back from Tim. And I'll do a video on it. That's all for now, I'm out.. later, 875

@@bradanderson5696 I’m running a Grant XL for SSB that just got completely refurbished and the mosfet upgrade by The Radio Garage , he’s on KZfaq , great technician!! And a Yaesu FT-950 for 11 meter SSB as well , plus some ham talking on 20/40/10 meter ,, and as far as AM , a President Lincoln II+ also set up by Matt at The radio Garage . A-99 with GP kit , and a Maco M-107 that I modified to direct fed through a 1:1 balun on a 40 foot tower . 80/40/20 meter dipole strung up off that from a bracket . For a little horsepower, a 307 Amps built staged 2x10 . Nothing to brag about but it ain’t a bad setup and it gets out . I’d like to talk to you one day about your icom setup , mic ,, etc 👍

Nowthen, The Radio Garage... I've seen his videos, been to his website and from what I've seen, he definitely knows what he's doing. I have a RCI 2950 CD that needs some help, and also thinking about sending a Philippine made Grant XL to him, for mods and mosfet upgrade, what do you think ? How do you like your M-107 ? I've been working on a 5 element with a 31 feet long boom with a Balun and hairpin match. How do you like your 307 amp ? I'll make a video of my icom 7300 with the Heil mic and Heil sound system , so stay tuned.
