Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has expressed confidence in his party, the APC, reclaiming the two senatorial seats lost at the tribunal.
After a meeting with Vice President Shettima, Governor Bello commended the presidential tribunal's verdict upholding President Bola Tinubu's election. He believes this judgment signals the APC's potential to regain the Kogi East and Kogi Central seats.
The tribunal had earlier removed the APC's senator from Kogi East, Jibrin Isah, ordering a rerun in 94 polling units due to canceled election results. In a separate decision, the tribunal declared PDP's Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan the winner of the Kogi Central senatorial election.
