Overnight camp in the woods using the French Army F2 tent. Trying out a new camp bed too!

I always enjoyed being in a warm and dry tent when it was pouring down outside. Walking in it is another story though.

Hi Andy and Wendy 😊, thanks for taking us along , and making us hungry, lol, realy liked the tent, bed setup. Those burrows Andy will more than likely be from rabbit's, as hares don't make em, they live out in the open , flatten down the vegetation into a kind of scrape/ bed, and they are very stinky animals, and a very aquired taste if you fancy eating one, not me brother, though wild rabbit ,properly prepared is ok. Thanks mate! Yep I’ve eaten plenty of rabbit before, but not hare …. Yet! 😂…. Thanks for the info brother! I’ve definitely seen both hare and rabbit in our woods so I guess I’ll have to try and find the hare’s bed now then! Best wishes mate 👍🏻👍🏻😎

Jens Williamson, III (Deaf) I am happy for you who carried his low cot (better than nothing) than sleeping on the floor plus wet from rain. My way: 7 by 7 A Frame Wall Tent with Rain Fly (lousy) under Western Field (Old one). I put 8 by 10 Camo Tarp with 14 Binder Clips (strong) on Rain Fly that was better. Dark Room and No Rain Drops in my wall tent. I slept on the good cot. I slept well. Smile! You will know. Okay! Thanks for your time. Have a great day! Respectfully, Jens C. Wonderful setup, Andy. Nothing wrong with being comfortable especially since I got old and less flexible long ago. Impressive supper and scenery - my invitation must be lost in the mail. :) While the rain is nice to listen and sleep to, it also makes things pretty soggy in the AM. We don’t have rattlesnakes over here in the uk, and vermin are more scared of us so they usually leave us alone 👍🏻👍🏻😎 best wishes

Nice video 👌 found your channel looking up the French F2 tent that I'm thinking about buying, as a family we've got a big tunnel tent for camping in but I'm looking for something relatively cheap to wild camp in with my 11yo son, I'll give you a sub 👌👌

Excellent! Thank you! Welcome aboard 😊…. My advice would be to take no chances and fab seal your f2 tent at home and carry a tarp, guy line and pegs etc to put over it just in case until you can trust it! That being said I’ve used mine now for over three years all seasons and have never had any problems. Let me know how you get on! I hope and wish you both happy times and safe adventures! @@MadDogSurvival thanks for the reply, appreciate it 👍, it'll mainly be in the summer months when we get out there, I've watched a few videos on the tent and the general consensus is seam seal it and fabsil it, that's going to be a definite for me before I do use it when I buy 1, I can't believe how cheap they are compared to normal tents from the likes of go outdoors and they look way cooler, they remind me of the tents we used when I camped with the cubs 30 years ago
