another major problem when it comes to the pandemics is that people are growing more and more distrustful of doctors and medical professionals while growing more and more trusting of conspiracy theories, quack medicine, and/or holistic medicine which means that even if we were to find ways to combat pandemics, the number of people who fear combating pandemics and curing pandemics will start outweighing the fear of getting said dangerous disease in the first place

A Type V civilization would be advanced enough to to escape their universe of origin and explore the multiverse. Such a civilization would have mastered technology to a point where they could simulate or build a custom universe. They will have mastered the new laws of physics and have almost complete control over the fabric of reality. Now, humanity is basically impossible to destroy by its own inhabitants, which has reached the decillions.

Missed #0 Human Innovation With our rapid ability to innovate new technology and how we interface with it we may one day in the future bring the end of humanity. With neural interface and human curiosity we may one day load our consciousness into a matrix and live immortal lives in a virtual world. No longer bound to the physical realm we could download our consciousness into humanoid robot and explore the most hazardous planets in our galaxy with no fear of death because we'd have a backup file of our self just for such events. Or stream our consciousness through a laser beam to a receiver on the opposite side of the universe for light speed travel. There would be no limit to what we could do, except being human.
