from what Adam said in a bench video on the Erebus...the erebus is designed for slowing burning powder. Factory ammo, according to him, will not give you the full benefit of what the pistol was designed for. If so then the Apollo being designed around Factory ammo, i assume this as it seems to be a ported Athena, should perform better with standard ammo. so here the apollo is running at max performance where the erebus has plenty of performance left it can call upon...most of us will never utilize the available performance advantages of the erebus, making the Apollo a great choice....that's my thoughts on it. I would also imagine the Apollo is a much easier pistol to manufacture rather than an Island barrel compensated pistol. The Apollo is an Athena with 2 ports cut into the barrel...I can see why Atlas would want to "Guide" us to the Apollo over the Erebus for all of these reasons.

When the top down view is shown the pistols and names are mixed up. Unless I'm mistaken.

I have both. Love both. I think the Erubus is softer shooting but it’s also heavier.

Both are great firearms i would be proud to own. Looking at the footage return the battery the Apollo look quicker. So your follow up shot should be quicker. From watch the video I would buy the Apollo before the Erebus. I can use it for not just range fun on the weekends. I would start back competition shooting, and you have a more variety of events you can use with it as well. I am a retired combat disable veteran. I have a lot of trigger time but needless to say but that would be my choice, but wouldn’t care which one I had because atlas gunworks is the super car of firearms for me. But to give up two or three firearms to purchase a Atlas is another topic. Great break down of the two keep putting out videos so watch these firearms at work.

I have a ported and tuned Athena and an Erebus. It definitely makes the Athena closer but to me the Erebus still has the edge. It could just be because of the extra weight. Neither are going anywhere.

Apollo seems less flip. I’m getting an Apollo and/or EOS

In the video the Apollo was flatter. In comparison the Apollo maintained a better balance. I agree with you. Apollo.

Both are super nice. Not going to be bias being that I'm waiting on my Apollo to be made. The Erebus in the slomo video look like it had less recoil than the Apollo. With the less recoil it just looked like it got back on target before the Apollo. Both are really nice and again I enjoyed seeing you shoot the Apollo in the exact spec I order #465142 mine in. Another great video. Thanks for allowing me to again to smell the cookie that's in the oven. 🤙🏾

The slide on the Apollo seemed to return quicker than the Erebus. What does Apollo mean... Meaning:Destroyer. Apollo is a masculine name of Greek origin that will definitely bring out baby's badass side. While this name means “destroyer,” Apollo is a figure that is iconic in Greek and Roman mythology. Who put you up to this??? My man I ordered the Apollo and I have been getting a lot of grief from KZfaqrs about the Apollo can't touch the Erebus. All I was doing was sharing what I was told by Atlas personnel via phone and the info from you bruh and they are eating me alive. Well a review on the Apollo by 2A-N-LA on Saturday 5/4/24... He is not a comp shooter but he loves his Erebus and that scored a 91 on his point system the EOS scored a 90. I mentioned to him I expect the Apollo to score at least a 94... I think he is going to be a bit bias when it comes to the Erebus. 😎
