This is pretty much the OPPOSITE of what I typically do for my furniture flips. Normally, I try to remove gouges and marks. Here, I'm actually ADDING THEM!
I turned this "dated" (subjective) orange-y pine dresser into a fun apothecary style piece using some different tools to mar and "age" the wood prior to staining. This dresser isn't TECHNICALLY new wood, but it's being sanded down to the raw wood, so the application of the faux "aging" process would be the same.
Adding some black library catalog style pulls completes the look, and I love how this turned out! In fact, our headboard is reclaimed barn wood and I'm thinking this might make a pretty sweet addition to our room if it happens to not sell right away!
