I'm 65 and my grandma once told me that IN 1915 her Dad went fishing near her home in Oklahoma and took her with her. While her Dad was fishing she was throwing pebbles in the creek and looked across the creek and seen a large harry giant watching her. She said daddy there's a caveman looking at me. He picked her up and ran leaving the poles there. They never went back. So I believe that these things exist. Thanks for the great story!

In the early 70's in east central Georgia I was sleeping in a hammock on a deer hunting weekend at a place called Bussey's Point. I woke up in the middle of the night and a "creature" was standing over me. It was like nothing I had ever seen before. It's breath was warm on my face. I was paralyzed with fear, I couldn't scream and I couldn't move. It was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life. I was finally able to close my eyes to await my inevitable fate but when I awoke at daylight it was gone, but the memory still lasts to this day. I've never returned to Bussey's Point! Mom grew up in that area, saw it around 1940 or a year or two earlier. Around Clear Fork near 988/188 and 217. They called "Ol' Caleb" - It walked across their field and stepped over their fence which was chest high. Described it as brown, black and white.

I don't know about that. My Grandma told the same stories over and over again. Like about during the Civil War when Tinker Dave Beaty's Union thieves came to her Grandma's farm and stole all the meat in the smoke house and their old mule. Then two days later Champ Ferguson and his boys brought them back a load of meat and a younger mule. Champ had ran into Beaty and the cowardly thieves dropped their stolen stuff and ran back to Jamestown. But they knocked one of Beaty's men off his mule and made him show where they stole all the stuff they left behind. And Champ took it all back to the ones who got robbed.

Growing up in the hollow, holler to those of us who lived there, we were very familiar with the sounds of the various wildlife. Coyotes, black panthers, the occasional lil sugar bear and wolf, even feral hogs. One year, I'm guessing I was around 11 years old, I heard something I could not identify. I was crossing the southern field, heading to Nanny and Poppy's house when a deep, guttural shout echoed down from the north end of the hollow. The hair on my arms and head began to prickle. It was neither animal nor human, loud and powerful sounding. I'm not exaggerating when I say every critter in the area went silent, birds bugs and all. It stayed quiet for several minutes and then I heard it again. I hurried on over to where Poppy, my grandpa, was standing with a family friend under the cedar tree. Both of them where staring at the treeline in the distance, quietly talking. I overheard Poppy's friend say, "they come closer to the farms when the summer is too hot." Then when he noticed me, he addressed me directly. "Stay out of the woods for a few days, Tsul 'Kalu is out walking."

I remember your video about your experience with something.I mentioned mine but did not elaborate on it as like you said nobody would believe me unless I killed one.Anyway,my dad and I were hunting rabbits with our beagle/hound crosses.Good dogs.We were on Starr Mountain just above Little Caney Creek that runs off into the Hiawassee River. They jumped a rabbit and went after it,the rabbit. We heard them stop baying and start barking, angry, scared barks.Needless to say that was over 35 years ago.I was 17.The woods got still no birds,no dogs barking,no nothing or sound even the wind stopped. As we went toward our dogs we heard the oddest sound.Never heard before but dad has and he stopped dead still white faced and scared.Nothing scared him or me for that matter. He points up the holler a ways and on the right side of tje hill stood something. It stunk to high heaven and it killed one of our dogs, had it in its left hand and when it saw us I almost messed myself.Pissed dad off for killing his dog he ups and shoots its with no.5 rabbit shot from a .16 gauge I cut loose at it with my .12 gauge no.6 shot and we hit it.Tracked as far as the river,it crossed we didn't.We did get our other dogs tho and headed for the truck.Dad went over the bridge and commenced to track it.To make a long story short after we crossed the river bridge we lost it about 3 miles West of the river.Blood all over,we had good hits on it,but never saw it again. After we went back in there another time loaded for bear or whatever it was.Had reddish black hair not fur, round nose, flat face, long arms and stood about7-8 feet tall, big brown slanted eyes in a large head.Dad swore me to secrecy and I have not told anyone until now.Went back a few years ago and nothing has changed .Didn't see anything but it was still as a graveyard.I can talk about it now.Dad has passed on now so I don't think he would mind. There is more to it but this will have to do for now.

Thanks for all those great Appalachian stories you share with us Donnie...They always remind me of home, because deep in the Appalachian mountains of Ky is where I was raised...Your stories always take me back home for a little while.💕Thank you for that Sir 🙂 Oh,P.S. Another great one Donnie! For everyone out there they are real! If you don’t believe that’s fine but I hope you never do see one for it will change your life. My grandfather and father taught me to ALWAYS tell the truth. In the first week of November 1983 in the Canadian Wilderness I had an encounter with Sabe’ (1st Nations name for Bigfoot). It was about 3:00am and I was in my tent sleeping soundly with my Marlin 45-70 at my side when I was jerked awake by a loud CRACK about 40 yards away. It was no deadfall but an intentional break I rolled out of my bag rifle in hand. I started to reach to find the tent zipper but I swear something said, DON’T DO IT! So there I sat listening as something huge started walking towards my tent. I could calculate by its six foot strides this thing is 10 foot tall and 1,000 pounds. Now there was no moon or light of any kind that night. But as it approached my tent I could tell with every step and start feeling it’s weight of every step hitting the ground. I sat and listened as it walked around my tent very slowly for probably five minutes but it seemed like an hour. Finally it stopped for maybe 30 seconds then turned and started walking back into the bush from where it came until I could no longer hear it anymore. Now Sabe’ could have killed me at any time, hell it could have just fell on me and killed me. I never chambered a round in my powerful bush gun. I felt it only would have made it mad. That’s when I joined the club of no return!

I always enjoy the stories you tell. I have never heard them referred to as boogers. Here in Texas, they're pretty much referred to as bigfoot or sasquatch. I agree with you that as big of a wilderness as there is in those mountains, there ain't no telling what all is living in there. It makes total sense that bigfoot would live in those mountains since they tend to shy away from human contact (for a good reason I must say.) I think it's a good thing that most people don't believe in them. Otherwise, you would have a bunch of idiots out there trying to hunt them and exterminate them. They are much safer with people not believing these stories.

Donnie i am a woodsman and live in SC, i am 65 and been in the woods all my life. about 3 years ago i was hunting a 100-acker track of land. down a old back road i caught a glimpse of an upright man ( i thought) run across about 200yds away. the next week me and my wife was deer hunting, she was i a box stand, i was in the woods sitting on the ground with my flintlock rifle. just before dark to my left and about 100yds away it sounded like 2, 2x4 were slapped together with such a force it vibrated in my body! i said out loud, what was that! then in about one min. it did it again except 50yds in the woods! i got up and i was gone! i went back the next day and about 10ft. up was a green treetop about the size of a 4x4 that was twisted off! i still hunt there but have seen or heard nothing else,,,,,,,,,,

I've got a friend who's old home place is southwest of Asheville, NC at the border of the Great Smoky Mountains. She sent me photos of a track way of large human like footprints that was left in the snow several years ago. The track way went for approx. 1/4 mile up a steep mountain and they could not follow it because it was getting late and had to turn back. Whatever the creature was walked up the driveway past the truck and the house and up the mountain overnight while they slept through a snow storm. It was in the 20's that night and this thing walked barefoot in rugged terrain over a mountain. We had a similar type creature spotted near my home some years ago along what we call the river hill's. Tracks were found and it was seen by several locals. I think that these things are migratory and never stay in one place long unless it is very isolated with sufficient food sources. Back in the hollows of the Appalachia there could be anything as some of those areas very large and remote and most of it National Forest so there is no development and once off the few trails through these areas, you could get lost and never be found. Perfect places for a creature to hide. I think that they come out of these places occasionally looking for food or other creatures like themselves. Too much evidence today and far back to discredit these stories.

Absolutely no joke, this topic. I have been "zapped" once while out camping in western NC when I was 9 years old. (56 today) Didn't have any idea what had happened but I was hiking towards a creek to get water at summer camp (went off by myself, dumb idea) and felt like I had stepped on a live electrical short or something. All my hair was stood up and acted like I was half knocked out. Didn't learn until just a few years ago what that probably was.

Mr Laws thank you for another awesome video . Yes The Boogers are real every Mountain Range throughout the world has stories about their version of a Booger in the woods. My Tribes name for one of these Beings is pronounced Key - houk - Saw , which roughly translates into Forget Me as in Forget you have seen me . My family has land in Oklahoma that runs into the Ouachitas Mts. there's a clan of bigfoot that have been on the back forty since my family has owned the land 1890's. We lease some acreage to a cattle rancher he and his sons have found a couple of nests while out running down strays . He said the bedding was huge three of them and the smell left little doubt .

I'm Aboriginal Australian. Our people called them yowie. I find it interesting that society denies the existence of something sighted by many cultures many many times 🤔 There's a channel named Sasquatch Ontario- the video with the photos of a sass. I thought the face might’ve been a mask at first, but there's absolutely NO faking the audio he has with one from about the 14.10 minute mark of that video!

I just wanted to say that I really enjoy all of your videos. You are a wealth of knowledge, and listening to you reminds me of listening to my older relatives telling us kids stories when we were children. My husband and I saw one of these things back in 2004, as we were driving, late one night, in east Texas. We bought a home on 7 acres in Fouke, Arkansas a little over 4 years ago, and we’ve found several prints, as well as had some strange occurrences, especially when I was home alone and my husband was working at night. We also have neighbors who have either seen them or had/have activity. It’s become a very interesting subject to me.

This unseen crunching of branches and brush happened to me back in the late 90's and it came so close but we still could not see anything so we climbed up a tree and waited 30 minutes until whatever it was stopped than we climbed down and got out of there, this I believe was a spirit of something but not a bigfoot. This happened in Hawk Mountain Sanctuary behind a building where many guests of an old Inn were murdered in their sleep in the mid to late 1800's. Great video Donnie,God bless you.

What an awesome video. The sound and pictures, especially with good headphones, are so immersive along with the great story telling voice. These creatures are real. I encountered one a few years ago out west and it's the same creature people see in the east and a lot of North America. Not just a big ape, not just a supernatural phenomenon. I tend to think they are a type of person, akin to something like neanderthal, highly adapted to the night, and very adept at hiding among trees and rocks. The adults are huge, and they are extremely fast. They catch deer bare handed and snap their neck and carry them off and eat them raw. They like to avoid people and will spook us away, but are also curious and will come around houses sometimes, curious of people, especially children, and also looking for easy food to take. Generally they don't hurt people but I sure wouldn't chance it. They do know what guns are and I think that's part of the reason they spook people away... They don't like our guns, for obvious reasons plus we compete for game. They are as smart as we are, but in different manners of language and probably mental abilities. And they HATE dogs. We humans and our dogs I think evolved to protect each other from this other type of wild hairy man, which is the superior predator, and dogs are a nuisance to them because they can sniff em out. But dogs don't want to go near because they have the same fear instinct as we do, when these big hairy people of the woods are nearby. They will definitely kill your dogs if they feel threatened by them. Not to eat, but to simply dispatch and silence.
