The photos today were absolutely beautiful. I lived just outside of Asheville for years and Hot Springs was always a favorite place. Congratulations on making it this far and can’t wait to see the rest of your journey.

In 2019 when I hiked out of hot springs I was home with an injury 4 days later. Made it to devils fork gap. I would give anything to be right where you are in this video. If you make it to Katahdin you will be my hero, no joke. I’m on the edge of my seat brother. Please stay strong.

Yay! Your Jolly Gear shirt will be a definite game changer for you. It’s as close to perfect as a shirt can be. Love, love, love mine… my favorite thing about it ( I have many) is how quickly it dries (whether from sweat or laundered) and how it cools you off when a breeze finds you… pulling the toggles on the hoodie to adjust around your hat and cover your ears are perfect when mosquitoes are buzzing around your head. I also open my pocket zippers to vent out on hot days…. The list of pros about the shirt goes on and on. AT All The Way 🥾

I’ll have to check and see if mine has all those features. I have not noticed toggles. I like the shirt a lot but I find it to be very hot and heavy if there is no breeze. I’ve had a lot of days without a breeze. But overall I like it.

Looks like a nice tent. I am a big believer that long distance hiking is best done solo. I think in a couple of weeks you will see why. Time to put some bigger mile days in. Keep it North, you got this.
