I’ve been waiting for this video! It was so heartwarming to see you all together again…I actually teared up many times watching it….i know your heart is full and sad at the same time… now, you can keep these memories forever, and hopefully still keep the friendships strong…. confession: was crying tears of joy watching this beautiful trail days get together. in regards to your photography, my grandfather would've been proud, the family photographer, the labeling, pictures, perfect! 🙌🙌🙌 love the rainbow, dancing (would be with pigpen), the brewery (heavy reel here's good), your harley davidson shirt (established 1903 because i love to know when things began), fried chicken drumstick, and appalachian trail conservancy (would be in there for hours, nerd that i am). hi, pat, vegas, pigpen, tigger from nj( yay! 🥳) and the rest of the trail family! beautiful video as always ❤😊

What a bittersweet video, I hope you all can get together again, it's been a fun ride watching you guys hike the trail, to summiting, to the reunion hikes and now Trail Days. The end with the individual pictures was a nice touch as well. Great video as always! Thanks for taking us along BWD

I am sure it was bittersweet especially at the end by the creek. The truth is that many friendships part ways after big life events, as we all know. But the important thing is that the connections were made and were meaningful.

LOVED your video! Ha. I knew your friend was there recuperating lol. Tigger Treks. So happy for you that you got together with your tramily for Trail Days. I saw Typical in a bunch of parade videos but couldn’t find you! The last part with your pics and where they were from, with that music I love,brought tears to my eyes. And Vegas hugging you, so sweet. I think of him with the YES & NO on his hands and how his thru hike changed that for him. Love y’all. 😊❤

Yes Tigger! My NJ friend. And Typical is very easy to spot in a crowd cause he wears a bright orange shirt and he’s 6’7”. Me…well I’m small. Won’t be able to see me in a crowd. And you are correct about Vegas. With his tattoos on his hands. Now he’s like an ambassador for the trail. And thanks for your compliment about the end of my video. I can get a little emotional watching it too

BWD, wonderful video. I felt the emotions of everyone in this video. It’s curious no matter what the venue the bonding or melding of souls is strongest after physical/mental hardship. The AT brings both of those. (So does the PCT hint, hint)…

I appreciate all of your support, but I have gotten off trail in Salem. I am going to mull it over until Monday, but right now I plan on renting a car and driving home. I don't know what a hernia looks like but I have an odd knot in my goin area, my shin was killing me yesterday and still hurts today, but the biggest issue is I not having any fun so pride is the only reason to continue. I have been hiking by myself every day. I can do that at home

So sorry to hear of your medical issue. But yes, please go home and get that checked out. And I totally understand it causing you not to have fun. We all would go home too with those kind of issues. But you must know that you did great! The Appalachian Trail is about spirit and not necessarily about thru hiking. And you have that spirit! I wish I had what you have. But I’m still working on it. Go home get better and take things from there. You’ve always been a great supporter of me and hopefully now..I can return the favor. Stay in touch and we’re all hoping for your health and recovery. I’m gonna say around mid July I’m gonna just jump on trail and start walking SOBO. No expectations and no pressures. I wanna swim in the 100 mile wilderness that I didn’t do last year. I’m gonna play things by ear.
