OMG! It has been sooo long since I've seen the leaf colors of Fall. Being from Virginia, and having lived the last 20 years in South Texas, makes me so happy to seeing the colors. We don't get that down here. This video made me homesick. This gentleman who showed you the old homestead was great in sharing this with you. Thank you again, for sharing your vlogs with us.

I sometimes regret leaving the Shenandoah Valley of West Virginia and Virginia but then I remember why I landed in New Hampshire...spectacular colors of oak, maple, ash, hickory and finding a persimmon tree was the ultimate. God be with you in your endeavors and your search for history. ✌🤲

Todd, that old road that you came across will be an excellent place to swing the coil, especially close to the buildings you found. What a nice location. The starter homes are some of the best spots I have found on old colonial sites.

Todd, you usually need a good frost of the persimmons. I have two domesticated persimmon trees in my yard. They grow larger than the wild ones. Also, the fox love them.

Living at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia is absolutely gorgeous in the fall, my favorite time of the year! The smell of fall brings peace and warmth to my soul! It seems as though the pioneers moved a lot of those rocks to form walls as they cleared the land! Thank you for this informative and beautiful video! 🍂🍁🧡🍁🍂

I do really miss the fall in the mountains. Does Brandon's people still own the land there? I hope some of them do. The cemetery is in such a peaceful setting. But I did find it sad that all those pioneers names are lost to history. I watched some of your older videos last night and saw again the one where you had been in Kandahar and younhoise burned. Of course I cried again but I'm so happy your wife when children were ok. Thank you for your service and sacrifice and tell your wife and children thanks too. They sacrifice just as much as the ones who have to go overseas. My nephew has been blessed with a wonderful wife who has dealt with his service for 20 yrs. She said they retirednthise year and she is finally at peace because he's home for good now. He's really enjoying it too. He also has a grandson and I find that hard to believe. Merry Christmas and a blessed new year to you and your family

Todd, do you know how much a walk through the beautiful Appalachian Mountains means to flatlanders like me, especially in peak of fall colors. Son, it was a most beautiful tour of an awesome site to uncover history. The family will see relics, coins, and artifacts once used and cherished by their ancestors. Powerful for us, powerful for the family, and powerful for your channel. Son, keep up your adventures that brings the past alive.

Your channel is growing and deservedly so. Great content, well researched and a refreshing break from some of those that are a dime a dozen metal detecting channels. Your old buddy's channel seems to have stopped growing and losing viewers like crazy....you know who I'm talking about too.....the best way to defeat them is to succeed....keep moving forward buddy.

I love Todd’s videos where He respects and pays tribute to the people and history behind the properties he detects. It’s not only Interesting but important we remember! Like the fact on how many German’s settled here. I always learn something new. Too many people today make uninformed assumptions and Ignore the real Facts.

Love your channel, and your content is unique....too many metal detecting channels any more and none with context. Plug and artifact...yawn. Your channel is a break from all of those and I appreciate the work you put into it. And I second what Digger Dan says below....that other guy....well his channel hasn't grown for more than a year....and now going in reverse....we all know his type anyway so just keep producing top notch content.
